We were so pleased with the Treetop Mountain Vista! The views were breathtaking! It was so nice to be able to escape reality for a couple of days while still having all of the conveniences of home. We were able to enjoy time in the hot tub, make dinners for ourdoor dining and watch movies while snuggling. Thank you again for an amazing time! We will be back.

Great off the road place to stay. The cabin was super clean and had some unique decor. Everything worked out just as the owner said. Super directions on how everthing worked such as hot tub, tv,etc. My only regret was I wished I could have stayed at least a week instead of a couple of nights. Really enjoyed Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. I hope to come back again.
Owner response:Thanks Chad! I hope you will come back again and stay longer. So much to see and do in the area and don't forget...just relaxin'.

The cabin was as pictured and described! It was an awesome escape from the hectic city life! House was built right into the mountain with the national forest directly behind the house and access to the Blue Ridge Parkway nearby. Accommodations were clean and well kept. The owner was helpful and informative during the reservation process and promptly emailed the directions and confirmation. While there we had to call for assistance with the hot tub and she immediately resolved our issue! I would definitely recommend this property and use it again!
Owner response:Thank you Laura and John. I do try to represent my special getaway accurately and I appreciate your acknowledgement. It was my pleasure ensuring you had a wonderful visit and I hope you will return. Best Wishes, Nancy

Nancy, Your cabin provided us a wonderful stay with an amazing view. We have traveled all over the country but never been to Asheville. We have always wanted to visit the Biltmore and didn't want to stay in a hotel. Thanks for the peace and quiet that we needed. We celebrated our 23rd anniversary and hope for more years to follow. Out time here was wonderful. God Bless, The Whitteds

Wow! What a truly beautiful place. Your cabin is our ideal get-away paradise. Oh to be a writer closeted here in February's winter clear air! Thank you for creating such a well-appointed, comfortable, in fact luxurious, dwelling-everything was easy to find and use. Romantic, with thoughtful touches, we especially enjoyed swinging between the hot tub and the stove. Many Thanks, Jodi & David

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while visiting Asheville. Treetop Mountain Vista is incredibly homely and was perfect for the mini vacation my girlfriend and I took. Being nestled at the top of the hill, the home had the greatest view to wake up to. After a day of walking, the hot tub at night and a clear sky full of stars was the ideal way to relax. Everything we needed during our stay was supplied and easily found. Nancy has done a phenomenal job of letting her guests know about the Vista and the surrounding area. This home is incredibly comfortable and perfectly located. Thanks again, Nancy, for supplying us with the perfect place to stay. We will definitely rent the Treetop Mountain Vista again for our next trip!

Nancy, Let me just say that Treetop Mtn. Vista has been an amazing home away from home. It was exactly what I had in mind for our long weekend away from our hectic lives back home. We were only here for three nights but we went horseback riding, shopping, trails with the pooch, Candlelight Biltmore, and dinner at Grove Park Inn. Hoover, our boxer/bulldog loved running up and down the hills, but poor thing didn't sleep much...I think he was on Mtn. watch the entire time:) It rained most of the time but it was still fine hot tub weather. I believe I could stay snuggled up in this cabin all winter long! But the most amazing part was on our last night here; we had a romantic dinner at Grove Park Inn and then he PROPOSED!!! So a great weekend trip turned into the best moment so far in my entire life! This truly has been a magical place for us and I'm confident it will continue as such for many others after us! Thanks! I had an amazing experience at this cabin. It was secluded and very quiet. I was able to make a full Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen and only needed to bring my baster, roasting pan and spices. This cozy space is perfect for a couple, or a single person in need of a quiet retreat. I walked each day with my dog for hours along the roads near the cabin and few cars even passed me. The blue ridge is 15 minutes up the hill and Asheville is 36 minutes per my gps. The arboretum was about 40 minutes away and a great place to walk alone or with a dog. Neighbors were very nice and quiet. I cannot wait to come back and spend more time reading, cooking and relaxing in the hot tub. On my last night I sat in the hot tub for two solid hours watching the sun disappear behind the mountains. Anyone in need of some solitude, quiet, peaceful walks and lounging around will love this place. The bed was so comfy, I brought my own pillows but didn't even use them. I slept soundly every single night and woke up refreshed. I lit the wood burning stove each evening and sat in the rocking chair and read a whole book in three sittings. If you need entertainment, Asheville has shopping, restaurants, pubs, a beer tour and a playhouse. If you can tear yourself away from this great cabin, you can definitely find fun things to do in town, but don't plan too much because you might just want to buy a bunch of groceries and stay put. For me, this cabin was the destination on the trip and I didn't need to leave for much at all. Greenlife whole foods is in Asheville and I stocked up on everything I needed. I just cannot wait to come back! Thanks Nancy.
Owner response:Many thanks to Natalie who submitted this wonderful review! I would like to clarify some of the times that it typically takes to get to various destinations in the area. Natalie is right on with the Blue Ridge Parkway as it does take only 15 minutes to get there and is only 4.5 miles from the cabin. I've checked with map quest and also have driven many times to downtown Asheville, the Arboretum, the Biltmore Estate and super markets in the area and would like to revise times needed to access these points of interest: Food Lion is 14 minutes; Bi Lo Grocery is 16 minutes; Earth Fare Super Market (specializing in organic foods, humanely raised meats, no foods containing high fructose corn syrup etc. is 24 minutes; Malaprops Book Store in the heart of downtown Asheville is 25 minutes. Hope this information gives you a good idea of distances, (which is typically measured in minutes rather than miles here in the mountains). Thanks, Nancy Brennan, Owner

Nancy- Thank you so much for a wonderful "home away from home". We got some beautiful hikes accomplished while here due to the fabulous location. (Mt. Pisgah, Graveyard Fields & Art Loeb). We ate at Vinnie's Italian restaurant Friday night (highly recommended) and Salsa's off Patton Ave. in downtown Asheville Sat. (also recommended-the food was amazing-atmosphere not so much). We had one great weekend so "Thank You" again. We hope to visit again:)

After a week of driving down the Parkway and in the Smokie's our 4 days here have been a welcome relief. We saw the cabin on the web a fair time ago and earmarked it for a belated 30th anniversary treat and it has been just that! We have loved every part of our trip but this "oasis" hs been wonderful before we head back to a busy life. The weather has amazed us-with 3 seasons in 3 days, 70's when we arrived, then 50's & then 32 with snow-not what we were expecting-but huge fun to go up Clingman's Dome and throw snowballs. And now it's back to summer! Many thanks for a great place to stay-we may be back one day-but still many parts of the world to see! Bob & Joy, Newport, South Wales, U.K.
