Very spacious apartment in a privileged position overlooking the medieval Place aux Herbes and the very colorful Procençale Saturday market right in the heart of Uzès. The apartment is on 2 levels with a large living room with high and beamed ceiling facing the square, delightful kitchen/dining room and a large bedroom with en-suite shower room on the lower level.

Well apart is the upstairs bedroom with en-suite bathroom, small dressing room and terrace overlooking the rooftops and distant hills to the west.
The very best address in town also ensures you have everything practically at your feet. Of all the delights Uzès has to offer, none is more than 2 minutes walk away! The square itself has a number of small outdoor cafées and restaurants under the ancient vaulted arches or in the shade of the plane trees.
Enjoying the benefits of being high up, there are also stairs to get here! This may not be
suitable for elderly persons or those with a walking disability.

For all the reasons previously given and I have not regretted this decision for one single moment.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment
Here you are in the very heart of the little town (traffic free) and enjoy looking down on the two very colourful weekly markets from your windows, check if your friends have yet arrived in the café downstairs, smell if the cheese stall has opened and observe the night settling over the square and all grows quiet.....and sometimes see the full moon rising over the towers to the east....
From the terrace, you can sit in solitary splendour contemplating the old tiled roofs or far-away hills with just the birds for company....

Having lived in various places around the globe, Uzès is where I finally settled and still remain some 19 years later! For all the good reasons of climate, atmosphere, history, the local products of southern France etc, the list is in fact endless.
I have yet to find a town as special as Uzes though now having more free time, I do like traveling and visiting other places and friends,far and near.
This means that my home is now available for rent and you can all come and see what it is like to live in a really special, small French town like Uzes!
Someone recently commented it's like "falling in love again......"
