This charming colonial house is located in the heart of the historic district, within a short walk of both the Jardin and Juarez Park.
Completely renovated and updated in 2007, you will find it freshly painted in beautiful Mexican colors and furnished simply and elegantly with comfortable and colorful antiques as well as original artwork. No luxury has been spared, including a water filtration system.
There are spectacular views from the second floor balcony and the roof deck...which overlook the city and Guanajuato plains with the Guanajuato mountain range as the backdrop. Sunsets are spectacular... The roof deck is the favorite place for cocktails as the sun is going down. The spires of the Parraquoia are practically within reach.
The location of the house, on the corner of Sollano and Terraplen make it ideal as a comfortable starting point for most of the activities the city has to offer. The walk to the Jardin is short and flat... Juarez Park is one block away... Close but far enough away to avoid all the downtown hustle and bustle.
Two very comfortable bedrooms... one with twin beds and a sitting area before a fireplace, the other with a queen size bed fit for a princess (2 adjustable firmness zones) There is also a balcony off of the second bedroom that overlooks the mountains. There is one full size bath and a lavatory. The kitchen is well equipped with all new pots and pans, cutlery, glass and plate-ware.
Living room has a fireplace and TV... the dining room seats four comfortably. There is also an outside patio garden with fountain and a roof deck. The housekeeper comes five days a week in the afternoons and will make your beds, clean the kitchen and do your laundry. (Please remember A GRATUITY IS EXPECTED on a weekly basis). |
