- Recreational opportunities abound in and near Leavenworth. During the winter months... Leavenworth Ski Hill, the Fish Hatchery and a few other courses for Nordic skiing and a bit of downhill. Stevens Pass and Mission Ridge are nearby for the more athletically inclined downhill skiers or the more adventurous Nordic. There are a number of sledding hills in the area - two of which have rope tows; snowshoeing trails and sleigh rides. During the Summer, activities such as rafting tours, kayak rentals, hiking, swimming, fishing, rock climbing, biking, etc. are available. This unique, Bavarian-themed town also hosts a large number of festivals throughout the year, available to see at http://www.leavenworth.org .

HIGH SEASON: May 26-Sept 5 and Dec 15-Jan 2 *Min 3 nights or $200 cleaning fee.
Sun-Wed: $600 per night for 1-10 guests/$650 for 11-14 guests.

My girlfreinds and I came up for a bachelorette weekend during the summer and had a really nice stay. The location is great - right next to the river and you can walk to town if needed (15-20 minute walk). The house is clean and updated - the beds were comfy and the bathrooms were nice-- which was key for 8 of us girls getting ready each morning. The management is very friendly and easy to work with, and when one of my friends left her very expensive watch behind, they found it and sent it to us right away free of charge. This is a great place to spend a weekend and the house is appropriate for couples and families as well. We will definitely be back!

We are back for our annual Leavenworth trip and Golf tournament. Had a great time catching up with old friends, swapping lies about our golf games, and laughing a lot. This is our second visit to Riverside Cabin. The first was in 2008. The improvements to the basement area and the redo of the decks are very nice - thanks! The river is an endless source of beauty with its rushing waters - especially nice this time because of the sandy beach. This is a beautiful piece of the world and we love being here!

Our annual trip to the Lighting Festival was wonderful. Four couples had plenty of room in the house and the large table allowed for some great game playing. First time in this house and we all agree that a light switch map would be helpful. Every room was clean and tidy and there were more than enough towels. Endless flow of hot water for all our showers. We would stay in this cozy house again without hesitation. Happy Holidays!

The Riverside Cabin was better than we imagined. We had plenty of space for everything and the house is beautifully furnished. We are definitely excited to come back again next year and make our visits an annual tradition. Thank you for a wonderful weekend that we will all remember.
