We have stayed here a number of times over the past few years and love it. It's a gorgeous house in a great location. The pictures don't really do it justice. The owner is always very helpful and the house is equipped with everything you could want. Can't wait to visit again.

Scott's home is architecturally impressive with soaring ceilings, large logs and big windows that let in the light, make it even more spacious than it already is - wow! The kitchen, multiple full baths and bedrooms are spacious, well-appointed, equipped and comfortable, the upstairs pool room fun & the family room the home's heart. Scott is knowledgeable about Mammoth and the area. If he is home (his is a smaller unit sharing a wall of the home, kinda like the smaller side of a duplex), you'll enjoy talking to him. If he isn't, don't hesitate to write him with any questions about the home, the area.

This was a beautiful home!! We enjoyed the craftmanship and the luxurious details in each room. The downstairs suite was perfect for Grandpa to get away from the rest of us! The upstairs loft and pool table were ideal for the kids to have their own space. We will definately be returning next summer. The owner/Scott was great to deal with and very accommodating. Thanks Scott for sharing your home!

Amazing house and a great owner/tour guide too!!! The house was just as described, with all modern amenities, furniture, etc. We had two families (4 adults and 5 kids) and the grandparents. The house had plenty of room for all and never felt too cramped, which I was initially affraid it might. Modern kitchen, very clean furnishings, pool table, spa, BBQ, good wifi, one car garage; the house has it all!!! As previous reviews state, the pictures do not do it justice. Master bedroom on first floor, and two bedrooms plus the loft on the second. Scott, the owner, was a pleasure to work with, and this home is a solid value for Mammoth. We will definitely be back!

What a great place! A beautiful modern version of a rustic mountain retreat - soaring interior with beautiful bare wood beams, spacious gourmet kitchen, comfortable beds, big outdoor jacuzzi tub, a loft upstairs with a pool table, and a large seating area in front of a roaring fireplace... what more could you want? Our family (Dad and three teens; 13, 15, and 17) are avid skiiers, and we visit Mammoth at least twice a winter and stay in the Village. Never again! This home was so much nicer, larger, and gave us the feel of being locals. Just a short drive or tram to Eagle Lodge, and away you go. Thanks to owner Scott for a great experience! We will be back.

Amazing house and equally amazing owner. A great experience all around. The house was everything as described (the perfect blend of high-end finishes in a log cabin package that is both elegant and durable) - not your typical rental. It slept our group of 4 adults and 5 kids (8-14) very comfortably. Close driving distance to town and skiing, with an easy, flat parking area. We've rented many homes through vrbo and this was one of the best experiences we've had. Scott, the owner, was great to deal with, and this home is one of the best values in Mammoth. We will definitely be back!

First - the house was as described - roomy, comfortable, and a great location. We were minutes from the village, grocery shopping, and so many terrific sights. There was still skiing on the mountain, but at this time of year, no real crowds or traffic to speak of. We hiked every day - the best being around Convict Lake. Because of the late snow, we were not able to see as many sights as we wanted (Devil's Postpile, Rainbow Falls, Lookout Mountain, Minaret Vista, Panorama Dome). But we saw plenty around the Mammoth area, including Mono Lake, and also spent a day in Yosemite before we left. Definitely would consider going back with our larger family. Had a great time each evening just relaxing in the great living room area.
Owner response:i get dozens of postivie feedback but it is hard for people to go back and update the book. You will be happy to stay here
