An executive vacation or long-term rental home blessed with three levels, four bedrooms plus, four baths, and Central Air Conditioning.
The gas heat includes a flick-on, log-burning fireplace in the living room with cathedral ceiling and cable TV/video. A second fireplace is in the downstairs family room. Our central air conditioning is appreciated on warm, humid days. The large, cool carpeted basement/family room also accommodates extra guests. In two separate rooms are a full laundry and a new, full bath. A new sunroom and cathedral entrance off of which is a beautiful new fourth bath and fireplace.
Cleaning services are provided for more than one week's stay during short-term and monthly during long-term rentals. Pets are NOT allowed, but kennels are nearby. The Hideaway is smoke free. Attached to the house via a large mudroom is a two car garage with an automatic door opener. This beautiful, "turn-key" get-away (3100 square feet) is fully furnished and includes a large deck and small deck overlooking a mature garden, bordered by woods of pines, cedars, oaks, and lush plants.
The house is lovely, but the environment is terrific. A community dock just a three minute walk. Interlochen State Park (the oldest and largest in Michigan) only one half block away. While the world-renowned Interlochen Center for the Arts (ICA)is only two minutes away by car or a 15 minutes walk through the Park with its stately white and Norway pines.
15 minutes away are both Traverse City (a tourist destination for the Heartland) and Crystal Mountain (the friendliest golf and ski resort in the state). A 30 minute drive takes you to the second most visited national park in the country, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Two-thirds of the nearly 40 wineries in Michigan are within a 40 minute drive as are over 50 golf courses. This is just the tip of the iceberg!
All maintenance is handled promptly. Owners live across the street.

OUR RATES: Summer$1,650/week plus 6% Tax
The above rate is for a party of 6.
The rate for the academic year is $1,450/month, plus utilities.
The rate for 12 mos.lease, Dec 1st ,2006 is $1,550, plus utilities.
