The OREGON WINE COTTAGE is your ideal destination. Unlike most other vacation rentals, we offer a one night minimum stay, allowing for more spontaneity in tight schedules. We believe you can be completely pampered, rested, and rejuvenated, in one night... although more is always better!
We are located in historic downtown McMinnville, in the heart of the Willamette Valley wine country, within walking distance of great restaurants, wine bars, boutiques and antiques shops. Catering to the discriminating traveler, our cottage is designed to appeal to those who appreciate sophistication and elegance.
The house has two bedrooms with king-sized beds and two bathrooms. One bathroom has a deep soaking tub for two and a separate shower; the other bathroom has a luxurious shower for two. Hair dryers, linens, and towels are provided, but please bring your own toiletries.
The OREGON WINE COTTAGE is located the perfect distance from your Portland or Winery wedding location. Say "I Do", dance with your friends and family, and then drive to the calmness of the cottage. Let the warm interior colors, richness of leather furniture, and the bubbles of the huge soaking tub entice you. Relax.
Please note: We have a no pet, no smoking (in or out), and no children under the age of 16 policy.

Year Purchased: 2007
After having enjoyed many travel opportunities, Michael and Valerie Rogers (celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary, May 2010) have discovered what they like while on vacation. Location, location and quiet are among the top three. In 2007, they brought these to you when they opened the Oregon Wine Cottage.
In addition to the Cottage, they are currently raising two teenage children, while both keeping day jobs. Coffee is an essential part of their day, which usually is accompanied by the dreaming/planning of their next trip to Europe!
Why the Owner Chose McMinnville
McMinnville is the childhood hometown of Michael; when Valerie met him in 1988, she not only fell in love with him, but also all that surrounded him.
It's very simple why we have The Oregon Wine Cottage. We love McMinnville, and the Willamette Valley! We want to share it's charm, historic downtown and wonderful wines with the world.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Guests often comment on the peaceful feeling they have upon entering the Oregon Wine Cottage. It is as though the busyness of life has slipped away for the time they spend here. From the soaking tub for two with soft up lighting, to watching a cozy movie on the flat screen after walking home from Dinner in downtown McMinnville, the cottage is a retreat from the ordinary.

The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood with easy walking distance of the many excellent restaurants in McMinneville. It is also close to a large park. The home is beautifully decorated, fully equipped, and very welcoming. We stayed with another couple and both rooms have exceptionally comfortable beds. The master bathroom is romantic and beautiful. We will definitely want to return!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+.

My wife and I, and another couple stayed here one night for her birthday and a quick introduction to the surrounding wine country. The cottage is in a great location for exploring all the vineyards and amazing restaurants nearby. After a long day of tasting, it was the prefect place to come back to and relax a while before getting cleaned up for dinner (great couches!). For dinner we were able to make an easy walk through a neat neighborhood to the center of town (no designated driver necessary!). The homeowners even had large umbrellas for guests. Overall, great location with all the amenities one would need to have a perfect wine country vacation. Will stay longer next time!

I so enjoyed my stay at The Oregon Cottage. The cottage was exactly what was described on the website. The bed was comfy and the masterbath was fantastic. I think we spent two hours in that enormous tub! It was the perfect get-away for romance and relaxation. The location was perfect to experience Oregon Wine Country and McMinnville. I would definitely stay there again when we visit Yamhill County. Please enter me in the drawing for the Five-Night-Stay. Thanks!

We loved it - a perfect little spot - comfortable and with character. A great location to enjoy the small town of Mcminnville and surrounds. We wished that we had more time to spend relaxing in the neighborhood and this lovely cottage.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+.
