Summer Fun in Stowe

This house gave us a wonderful venue where we could bring together our adult children and three grandchildren for two weeks, including the 4th of July holiday. When the parents of the two toddlers visited, the third floor was a perfect haven. The lower level provided our teenage visitor with the space she desired and an opportunity to sharpen her pool game. We enjoyed long lazy dinners together on the great porch that features a grill and a large table. In short, the house was a marvelous place for our family. The Stowe Spruce Peak area is fun for kids who want to ride the alpine slide and try out the bungee trampoline. Summer lunch at Cliff House following the gondola ride to the top of the mountain was a treat. Owner Teal was easy to contact and very helpful. The house was is in great condition and featured comfy beds and a hot tub. Everything needed in an excellent rental is here. I suspect that if something were lacking, it would be taken care of! While in Stowe we visited the Blue Moon Cafe, one of our favorite restaurants, played golf at the many courses within 40 miles, and enjoyed the 4th of July Holiday and the Balloon Festival. We love summer in Stowe!

This property greatly exceeded our expectations! The photos do not do the place justice! It is spotless, tastefully decorated and the owners are very pleasant and helpful! The location is the best feature of all. The skiers in our group could get to the hill easily while some of us snowshoed on the Recreation Trail, the children went sledding a few of us shopped in the village. Saturday night we cooked a large family dinner in the well equipped kitchen, sipped wine by the fireplace and soaked in the hot tub under the stars. We give this property our highest recommendation. It was worth every penny!

This rental was so nice and comfortable. The layout provided ample space and privacy and the furniture and amenities were well thought-out, maintained and thorough. Easy walk to several restaurants and shops. Parking was easy. We loved the flannel sheets – warm and cozy – nice touch. Hot tub and pool table made for a fun evening.

My family just returned from a long weekend birthday celebration up in Stowe. As all of the previous renters have noted before me, this house is simply perfect and every possible "need" has been thought of by the owners (Teal and Jeff). The house is located a stone's throw from downtown Stowe, but set back from the road so you have privacy (and a beautiful view of Little River from the hot tub out back). This spacious house has plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to comfortably accommodate large groups. We had 7 adults and 2 kids in the house and there was room to spare. The home appears new, is extremely bright and clean, has beautiful furnishings throughout and is fully stocked with movies, games, linens and kitchen supplies (even had a cocktail shaker and wine opener which we forgot at home). Unfortunately, it rained the entire time we were in Stowe, but it did not dampen our spirits. We had a lot of fun just relaxing around the fireplace in the living room telling stories and sharing lots of laughs. This home is very inviting and relaxing and is the perfect spot for a getaway. We are already planning our return trip to this beautiful home. I've rented numerous properties for long weekend getaways and, by far, this is the nicest property and the easiest rental experience I've had yet. Teal was a dream to work with and promptly responded to all of my questions via email. Can't wait for our return trip!!

The house has everything you could possible need to have a great weekend. We didn't do a lot of cooking because the restaurants are so terrific but the kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The setting is beautiful and each bedroom is very tasteful. The house is very new, updated and very clean. Great fireplaces and plenty of bathrooms for all. The location is terrific. You can walk to the very nice Stowe market in 5 minutes and the downtown area is a 10 minute walk. The restaurants downtown are all great and numerous. Our favorites were Harrisons, Blue Moon Cafe, Fredas and Jamies bakery for casual breakfast and lunch. We loved the hikes and the foliage was so beautiful. I would recommend to all. We loved the hot tub and playing pool in the family room downstairs.

Had a great time at this house. Comfy beds, very clean, great kitchen, lots of room, hot tub. Plus it's right in Stowe so you can walk to places. The river running in the back yard was a nice touch.

More WONDERFUL than expected!! My family and I stayed in this home for a summer Stowe wedding and we were so pleased with the house. It is open and spacious and has separate bedroom/bathroom areas for privacy from the rest of the rooms and the location is fantastic - walk to town and grocery store and ice cream and a coffee shop and galleries. And the hot tub is wonderful. I would suggest this home to all!
