Each residence includes a living and dining room area with a natural gas stone fireplace; a fully equipped kitchen; two master baths with jetted spa tubs; and a private balcony.
10 ft. high exposed beam or vaulted ceilings in the living room is ideal for enjoying a quiet evening with family and friends. The living room sofa converts to a comfortable bed conveniently placed in front of a natural gas fireplace.
The gourmet, stainless steel finished kitchen with European porcelain sinks and granite counters appeals to cooks of all experiences and styles. Amenities include Viking ovens, Sub-Zero refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, wide plank, wood flooring and all the accessories needed for cooking.

Telluride offers the most majestic scenery of any mountain destination. The summers are fantastic with all kinds of activities and major festivals too. During the winter the skiing is fantastic and the slopes are uncrowded -- something that is particularly important to me when my three children (ages 4, 6, 9) are on the slopes.

Born and raised in the New York area I grew up skiing the Catskill Mountains of NY. Always enjoyed introducing others to both skiing and the mountains and did everything from ski instructing and organizing bus ski trips, to organizing complete air/lift/lodging packages for my fellow students while in graduate school. Through it all I have taken pride in offering the very best, at an unheard of price. I am happy to be able to continue doing such by offering the Franz Klammer to you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Franz Klammer! The hotel service and amenities were top notch. The condo was very nicely appointed and quite comfortable -- not to mention the best location. Easy access to the slopes, gondola to town or grocery, ski school, stores, restaurants! We would love to come back to our favorite ski destination, Telluride, and would stay at Franz Klammer again in a heartbeat.

My family stayed at the Franz Klammer for a week in January (2010). The location is fabulous - particularly if you want ski/in, ski/out. The property itself is luxurious and well-managed. Great concierge service...great restaurants and great skiiing. We loved it and would return without hesitation.

My family and I travelled to Telluride in February 2009 and enjoyed a fabulous ski trip, staying at The Franz Klammer Lodge. The accommodation was of a superior quality and the service from the lodge was exemplary. The facilities were very good and included a small indoor hot-tub in the spa area, sauna and steam room. Transportation around Telluride is very easy with the gondola system and the Franz Klammer will also provide a shuttle service. The resort is truly beautiful. It has great skiing but has a small, uncrowded community feel. I would definitely return to the Franz Klammer for a future trip to Telluride.

The Franz Klammer Lodge in Telluride, CO is a wonderful vacation. My two young sons, my husband and I all loved the resort. It is based in Mountain Village right at the Gondola and Chair lift for easy access to skiing or to the town of Telluride. All the employees were considerate and tried to anticipate our needs. The ski valet was fantastic after a long day on the slopes. We rented skis from the ski shop located in the FKL and it was a smooth process. Our suite- really a condo- was a huge three bedroom, with three gorgeous bathrooms, high end kitchen, laundry, fireplace. It was very clean with Temperpedic mattresses and full down duvets. When we needed maintenance, they were up in five minutes. It was a luxurious place to stay from the pick up at the airport, through check in, to the end of the week. If we go back to Telluride, we will return to the Franz Klammer Lodge.
