Gorgeous beach, but quite and less crowded than the Sandy Beach properties.
This is in the area of the new International Airport, and I purcased here also for the value of the appreciation on the property. I will eventially sell the condo after the airport is open.

First off, I’d recommend Ecanto condos to anyone who wants a relaxing, family friendly and not crowded vacation spot. This was my first trip to Puerto Penasco and after staying at Encanto, I can’t wait to go back. My family of four (me, wife, 3 yr old daughter, 7 mnth old daughter) enjoyed 3 days and 3 nights in paradise over the 4th of July weekend. My oldest daughter loved swimming all day at the pool and collecting seashells at the beach. The pool is 100% kid friendly because there are plenty of shallow areas for wading and sitting. There are also jets that decorate the pool and a horizon style waterfall that looks over the ocean to add to the beauty. As far as collecting sea shells goes, I recommend being at the beach in the morning (easy to do if you’ve got little ones) to see the tide pools that collect hermit crabs, little fish and tons of shells. These tide pools are at the rocky reef about 75 yrds from the property that is completely exposed at low tide every morning! The beach is tranquil. During our three day stay, we were only approached by 1 vendor selling jewelry on the beach. A simple “no gracias estamos bien” and the vendor was on his way to solicit his next tourist target. The water at the beach was clear and calm and the sand, with the exception of shells in some areas, was soft and fun to dig in. As far as the room goes, every room at Encanto has an awesome view of the pool and the Sea of Cortez. You can wake up every morning and the Sea is the first thing you see. It’s very relaxing. Our room was clean, cool and comfortable. I felt like a distinguished guest at Denise’s house! The room is equipped with washer, dryer, stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, a/c, dish network and every amenity you’re used to having at home. My only advice is that you bring lots of food. Use the kitchen for preparing your meals and remember to take plenty of botanas (snacks) to munch on while your relaxing by the pool. Please remember, take everything you need so there’s no need to go to town. The drive is about 25 minutes which makes it a little inconvenient if you forget something or would like to experience local flair like shopping and restaurants. The good thing about being so far out is the evening sky. I was amazed to see the stars almost touch the horizon when we arrived late Friday night. I bet the resorts on Sandy Beach don’t get this view because of light pollution. Overall, our trip was awesome. I highly recommend Encanto condos!

This is the place to be if you want to get away from it all. You won't even miss the activity in Puerto Penasco. We went to town one day for shopping and lunch and couldn't wait to get "home" We found plenty to do, long walks on the beach, hunting for seashells, enjoying the huge jacuzzi, lounging on the outdoor beds by the pool. drinking coffee on our private balcony with amazing views. We took our inflatable kayak and it was great having a place to store it behind secured walls...we were actually able to use one of the locked garages. There's steam and exercise rooms for those who are so inclined. The condo itself is lovely with everything you might need.The decor is upscale and tasteful. It was great having a full kitchen ...you won't mind cooking with the views you get from the kitchen. We had a couple of very minor issues and the owner responded and took care of them immediately We will return and I can't imagine staying anywhere else in the Puerto Penasco area
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
