Newly remodeled guest house (approx. 1,000 sq ft) located on a quiet, tree-lined street. We offer a quiet, clean, and sophisticated getaway that is perfect for a couple or single guest.
Located at an ideal starting point for walking, jogging, roller blading, or biking along the beautiful Long Island Sound shoreline. Town beaches are within walking distance. Also within walking distance is a historic New England town green, boutique shopping, an outstanding art house cinema, a nationally recognized independent bookstore, and numerous fine restaurants. Madison is an idyllic summer vacation town, and the town green often comes alive with outdoor concerts, antique fairs, and farmer's markets.
The guest house features a contemporary art collection of internationally recognized artists, creating a unique gallery-like atmosphere. Renters are encouraged to use the property's pool, hot tub, and pool house (seasonal, shared with owners).
We are located approximately thirty minutes from New Haven (museums, theater, dining). We are located approximately forty minutes from Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium, and the local casinos (Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun). Other nearby attractions include the Essex Steam Train, U.S.S. Nautilus & U.S. Submarine Force Museum, Rocky Hill Dinosaur Park, Pequot Museum, and the Goodspeed Opera House.
Because this small guest house has a shared driveway and yard, we have a strict occupancy of no more than two persons and two cars. Please do not contact us if you have more than two people in your party or are planning to host numerous or frequent guests during your stay (this property is not suitable for this type of use). No pets, no smoking. One week minimum rental fee (will prorate for longer stays). Email is the best way to contact us.

Why the Owner Chose Madison
Madison has historically been a great place to escape to from the city, especially during the summer. We frequently have friends and family come to stay with us in our guest house and make it available for rent when it is free. We enjoy meeting new people and are pleased that we have several renters who now return to us every year.
The Unique Benefits at this Guest House
Our guest house is located across the driveway from the main house where we live. We will always respect your privacy, but are available to answer any questions or assist in any way should you need us. The large yard and pool area are beautiful year round. The property and neighborhood is safe and quiet.

My wife and I are active art collectors, tennis players, and sailors. She works as a school teacher and I own a small wine label that promotes young artists. We have three kids.
