On the main level, you will find a cozy living room with moss rock fireplace, hardwood floors, TV, stereo, and leather furniture. The living area is adjacent to the dining and full-sized open kitchen. Seating is available at the table for 6-8 as well as eight barstools around the 4x8 kitchen island. Just off of the dining/kitchen area is a deck with grill. Also on the main level is a master suite (#1) with king bed, twin sleeper chair, en suite master bath and laundry. Bedroom (#2) is next to this master with a queen bed and full-sized bath across the hall.
The lower level has a second Master Bedroom (#3) with king bed and en suite full bath; Family Bedroom #4 has two double beds and en suite 3/4 bath; Queen Bedroom (#5) with full bath across the way; and TV room with a single sleeper futon, game cube, TV, mini bar, corner stove, and entrance to side deck with hot tub.
House has 200 gallons of hot water storage for taking multiple showers.
This home is located 1.8 miles to new Peak 7 skiing, 2.4 miles to Peak 8 skiing, and 3 miles to Breckenridge.

We spent a week in this home along with our children and grandchildren. The house was so well kept up and equipped. One of our sons made a comment that the kitchen was better stocked than theirs at home as far as cooking utensils. There were plenty of towels and the owners were excellent to work with. It was just close enough to town to make it a wonderful location without being right in town. We will definitely try to use this home again. We had grandchildren ranging from 13 - 2 yrs and was great for them all as far as nearby activities - fishing, rafting and biking. Would definitely recommend this for families or couples get away

My husband, 4 grown daughters, their husbands, and grandkids stayed there over Easter weekend, 2011. What a great place. We all had our own beedroom and bathroom. The hot tub was great, as was the extra TV room in the Basement. Plenty of towels were provided as well as shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion. (Not used to having so much provided!) The kitchen was large and fully equiped. Very comfortable and felt like home. We will return. Also, Angie was so easy to work with and responded to all of my questions promptly. Thank you!

The Lone Hand retreat was perfect! Me and 9 of my closest friends stayed here over President's Day weekend. We made it our home away from home and the amenities (5 bed/5 bath, hot tub, kitchen fully stocked, fireplace, multiple tv rooms, etc) made for a fantastic weekend. Angie was also SUPER responsive with our inquiries, and flexible with our requests. It was also a great location for an easy drive up to Peak 7 (especially if your non-ski/snowboarding friends will drop you off so as to avoid the paid parking, gondola, etc!). I highly recommend the Lone Hand retreat without reservation.
