Paradise Village complex including shopping center is a five minute ride away on shuttle bus, ten min walk. Many Paradise Village facilities are available for Playa Royale guests including theme dinner nights, pools and restaurants. The Plaza Shopping Center/Mall has many shops, restaurants, take out/delivery. Restaurants include steak/Italian, seafood/Italian, Brazilian, Mexican, Subway, Dominos, McDonalds takeout/delivery and more. Baskin Robbins also in the Mall. Concierge provides reservations at many local restaurants, excursions, golf, tennis and information on a host of activities.
The Paradise Village Resort Complex includes a variety of activities for families. You will be challenged by El Tigre 18 hole championship golf course. Hacienda del Paraiso spa and full menu restaurant including Sunday brunch is also located there. Nearby, members swim and fitness center with large lap pool, tennis courts, weight and exercise plaza, spinning, Pilates, sauna, basketball, volleyball, raquetball, etc. The kids' facilities include a supervised water complex and large play area. Facilities are just minutes away by shuttle. They are available by paying a weekly fee.
Off site excursions include evening sailboat cruise, jungle canopy adventure, swimming with the dolphins among many other hours long or day long tours and activities. Shopping and dining in the many stores and restaurants of Puerta Vallarta are reached by bus, taxi or rental car. Of particular interest is the evening catamaran cruise along the Puerta Vallarta waterfront and hotel areas on the way to 'Rhythms of the Night' Mexican historical ballet and dinner--a must see.

Nuevo Vallarta area has a laid back, very secure atmosphere where you can really relax. The beach and amenities at Playa Royale are fabulous. On the 7th floor you can view all the ships, fishing boats, whales, dolphins, islands, sunsets all while enjoying breakfast or an evening drink. Restaurants in the local area are excellent, but most of all the people are very nice and focused on making your vacation a memorable one.

What a perfect spot, from wonderful accommodations, to a view that can't be beat, to a location that is centrally located, convenient for catching a taxi (arranged at the very helpful front desk), to catching a bus, this rental has it all. It is well maintained, with comfortable furnishings (and great beds!) and a kitchen that has everything, it is just right for the perfect vacation. Nuevo Vallarta and Puerto Vallarta are locations on the very beautiful west coast of Mexico, with plenty to do, from exciting adventures (such as whale watching!), to laid back beach time on an amazing beach......We just can't wait to return to this great property. The location is beautiful and the weather was perfect in November. The condo has a superb view of the bay and, with the sliding glass bedroom doors open, you can be lulled to sleep by the breaking waves on the beach. The facility is immaculate and superbly furnished. The location offers plenty of entertainment opportunities and is close to numerous great restaurants, golf, and shopping. If you wish to eat in, a grocer is nearby. No need to rent a car with airport and local shuttles. The Playa Royale management and staff were wonderful. Our family highly recommends this condo and Playa Royale.

This vacation paradise is perfect. The scenery is gorgeous, the view from our rooms were outstanding. There are several pools, all kept in perfect condition, as were the rooms and surrounding area. Good local restuarants. The sunset sailboat cruise from the local port is not to be missed. Lots of dolphins. We vacation a lot and we definitely give Playa Royale a five star rating.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This place was beautiful and peaceful... pretty ideal. The condo was very comfortable and spacious and had an amazing view. The beach was very nice and the bar made a lazy day perfect! There were plenty of wonderful places to eat out but the grocery store down the street and the full kitchen allowed for a couple quiet nights in. The staff and building manager are very helpful and we did several excursions that were a lot of fun. I highly recommend Playa Royale and this condo in particular!
