Welcome to our newly renovated apartment! This beautiful living space was created in 2007 as a comfortable and private oasis for those seeking relaxation, an undisturbed working environment, and communication with nature. We are located in the community of Millersburg, just east of downtown Columbia where an easy drive will have you in town in 10 minutes.
The apartment overlooks 26 acres of private land, and features a large master bedroom suite with mission-style furniture, queen-sized bed, and hardwood floors. Relax in the deep soaker tub with beautiful views of the countryside from the large picture window. The master bath also features a separate glass shower and dual sinks. The kitchen contains all new stainless steel appliances, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster oven. The second bedroom contains a queen-sized sleeping futon and desk, and the powder room features a copper-bowl raised sink. The main living and dining area is bright and airy with a large sliding glass door leading to the sun deck. There is a fully furnished laundry room for your use, with iron and ironing board.
If you prefer to relax at home, there is an entertainment center with DVD and VCR, satellite television, and satellite high-speed wireless Internet access.
Columbia holds many activities for visitors. Home to 3 centers for higher learning, there are educational, sporting, and art and theater events virtually year-round. The University of Missouri Concert Series brings world-renowned performers and Broadway shows to the area on a regular basis. There are great locally owned restaurants, brew pubs, coffee houses, art galleries, and apparel shops downtown. The Twilight Festival, an enormous block party throughout the downtown area, occurs every Thursday night in September and June. The True-False Film Festival, a 4-day documentary extravaganza with an attendance of 15,000, is held annually at the end of February. The new, interactive YouSeum, is a great spot for kids and adults to explore. There are many live music venues and nightclubs offering a variety of entertainment. Columbia also hosts the Show-Me State Games each summer, as well as other statewide sporting events. For those wishing to spend time outdoors, Little Dixie Lake, managed by the Missouri Conservation Department, is 2 miles away, with fishing and a 6 mile hiking trail. Rock Bridge State Park is just south of Columbia with numerous hiking trails. Columbia is also the start of the Rails-to-Trails MKT Trail, a 10-mile biking and hiking trail that connects to the Katy Trail, a 220+ mile Rails-to-Trails trail across Missouri.
