The house is only 15-20 minutes from the most scenic skiing in South America at Cerro Catedral in the winter and close to fishing, trekking, sailing, white-water rafting, horseback riding or golf at a championship course in the summer.
Newly built with cathedral ceilings throughout and luxuriously furnished, this new 2-level house has 2 satellite TV's; CD/DVD; surround-sound stereo; cordless phone; WI-FI [for your laptop]; open fireplace; and a spacious deck overlooking Bariloche. Downstairs is the master suite with full bath [shower-tub] and a guest bath. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms [w/2 single beds each]; full bath [w/shower-tub] and an office [w/PhotoSmart printer]. Great views throughout.
The dining room seats six. Kitchen includes microwave; coffee maker; toaster; juicer; blender and a washer/dryer. All cookware; dishes; silverware; glassware; linens; towels; & firewood are provided. An Argentine-style parrilla [BBQ] is located on the back patio. Maid service is offered once per week [or daily at an additional charge].

me and my family had a great time this house. the location is perfect, the kids loved to make snowmens in the backyard, and to go playing on the snow in front of the house. the rooms were very confortable, but the heater was not working very well, maybe because it the wether was too cold. a car is necessary. the proprety is very well manteined overall, and we are planning to go back next year.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Overall, a good experience. House is very well kept, clean, functional, comfortable, good heating. I would not rate it as luxurious, though. Good location for hitting the road to Cerro Catedral. Five minutes to town centre by car (which I srongly recommend having). Good service from owner / agent. We spent one week and enjoyed living there. Some really minor things: too many dogs barking nearby at night; could use better cooking utensils; nothing relevant, really. Some may want a much closer location to the lake, but ours was just fine. Bariloche and surroundings were spectacular for sightseeing and this place helped as an excellent base. Would rent again and recommend.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
