The home is tastefully decorated with distinctive new designer furnishings and features LCD TV's, multiple DVD players and Satellite TV. Select a movie from our large library of DVDs or play one of the various board games. Spark your competitive side with a game of foosball. The home also features a 2nd kitchen and dining area in the lower level. No need to haul your garbage to external dumpsites at the end of your stay, the home has scheduled trash pickups for your convenience. Optional linen and towel services are also available through a 3rd party provider.
View the countless stars from the large party dock or use it as a swimming platform. Let the stress melt away in the large 8 person hot tub overlooking the lake. My husband and 3 children had a wonderful time at this lovely home. The house has incredible views of the lake with wall to wall windows in almost every room. We loved waking up each morning and having breakfast on the deck. Nighttime outdoors is like a planetarium, which my little astronomer of a son just couldn't get enough of. All in all an excellent vacation in an excellent home. The only thing we regret was not staying longer; but we will definitely be coming back next summer.

My friends and I were looking for a place to spend a relaxing extended weekend together. We found Serenity and got exactly what we were looking for. The house was amazing and we had the best weekend. We constantly bring up our time at Serenity and talk about the memories we made there. We were actually out on SML this past weekend on a boat, and we all wanted to drive by Serenity just to see it (and we wanted to jump off the dock again, but contained ourselves!). Everything about the house was perfect. There were 8 of us and the space was just enough. The hot tub was a little tight for all 8 of us, but we made it work just fine! The party dock was definitely our favorite place. The water was cold since we went in May, but it was nice to hang out on the dock and jump in when we got hot. We did run into a water leak in the house when we were there, but the property manager was great about it and got someone out within an hour to fix the leak. We are already talking about booking our next trip to Serenity, but we're not sure if we can wait until next Spring/Summer! I think this place would be great for the winter months too. You could still enjoy the beautiful house, the view, and the hot tub. Can't wait to stay here again someday soon!

My family of 6 spent a week at this lovely home in the summer and had a wonderful stay. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the breathtaking view of the lake through the walls of windows. The home is very well maintained with a great layout to entertain adults on the upper level and the kids in the lower level. We loved lounging on the party dock during the day and relaxing in the hot tub at night. All in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We plan on returning to the home next summer.

We rented Serenity for a long weekend when my son graduated from VA Tech. We had not been to Smith Mountain Lake before. We really enjoyed the lake and everything available there. Serenity's owner sent us information about restaurants and marinas and everything he said was just right. The house looks exactly like the pictures. The views of the lake are great and the dock was wonderful. I recommend both the house and Smith Mountain Lake,
