The Fall Season. . . .
Ah, Summer has gotten away from us, hey it's Fall, adult time around the pool, the kids are back in school. Yes, yes, yes the beach to ourselves and the best time of the year too. Get away to the beach with your sweetie. #203 the Dunes at Fort Morgan, Alabama.

Warm gulf waters, sun drying on sugar white beaches, soft-spoken conversation without agenda, long walks, ankles deep in turquoise tranquility, surf, sun, crystalline water, the natural seductions of life.

Atop a dune at the doorstep of Fort Morgan, you will find that our end of the beach is the most quiet and secluded. More than a mile of pristine, unpopulated beach awaits you. For our guests with a feeling for history, the adventure of a massive civil war fort is there to be explored. Ah, the spring bird migration, the first landfall perch for the tropical flock as they wing their way north. It is spectacular and it happens right at your doorstep in the wooded area surrounding the fort.

Quiet late nights, quiet early mornings on the balcony with a tropical drink, a cup of coffee, a light meal or full banquet, all assembled from the fully equipped kitchen that is provided for your secluded comfort.

Na! You don’t have to cook, there are fine restaurants within minutes or call and have a pizza delivered. We're secluded not primitive! This unit sits ajar the outside/inside pool of our “Palm Tree Paradise”!!! The unit is highlighted with bright tropical colors and the running theme of palm trees throughout. It is truly a place to get away from every day life and immerse yourself into a tropical setting. It features a comfortable queen size bed in the master bedroom, two full baths and bunk beds for the little ones to have adventures. A sleeper sofa awaits for anyone extra you may want to bring. The soft yellow of the condo provides you with a warm sunny feeling, even while you are indoors.

  • This condo is a must see & stay. Dorothy & Robert have everything just perfect for you and have thought of every little detail for you. The condo is immaculate and the perfect location for you and your family. The beach is soo clean and its private so you dont have to fight the crowd. We just got back yesterday and we cant wait to go again and we wont stay anywhere else but here!

  • The condo was great, It was very warm and inviting! The owners were wonderful to work with and very easy to get in contact with. The location was beautiful and I loved how secluded the area was. I am not one that likes big crowds or commercialized areas and this was the perfect place! It was nice seeing all the wildlife especially the dolphins in their natural environment.

  • What a find! This rental is located in a wonderfully remote part of Ft. Morgan. We were able to watch the Blue Angels practice at the same time we watched dolphins jumping in the gulf. The condo was delightful - clean, well-appointed, with a balcony that overlooked the pool and the ocean. I can't say enough about the rental or the owner, who was unbelievably gracious when we needed assistance. The best value in the Gulf Shores/Ft. Morgan area!

  • This beach escape is just totally a pleasure. The unit is clean,modern and so spacious for a one bed room. Lots of room for 1-6 folks.The view and decor are lovely and the amenities of the condo are attractive as well. The peace surrounds you in style and you leave wondering why you must go.

  • We had a wonderful week in Ft. Morgan and really enjoyed staying in the condo. We especially enjoyed the fishing at Ft. Morgan, Alabama Point and taking the ferry to Dauphin Island. I especially liked Tacky Jack's II. This was like a second honeymoon for us. Thanks Dorothy and Robert for your hospitality.

  • We have just returned from our second trip to paradise. Dunes 203 is a must visit if you are into beautiful quiet beaches, beautiful sunsets and a wonderful place to call home whether for a week , a month or longer. The owneers, Robert and Dorothy, are a joy to work with and the folks at the Dunes are always there and willing if you need them. Fort Morgan is a short walk away and the ferry to Dauphin Island is right there at the Fort. Gulf Shores and all of the attractions they have to offer is a short and I might add very pretty drive East. We will go back!

  • We LOVED our stay at Ft. Morgan! Condo 203 is clean and cheery, the people are freindly and beach is relaxing. The fishing was AWESOME! If you are there to fish, try the point at Ft. Morgan for redfish, or try the pier behind Tacky Jacks 2 for a variety of smaller fish. (We asked permission to fish behind Tacky Jacks 2 and they allow the public to fish during off season.) The dolphin and pelican watching was fascinating. We can't wait to come back for another visit!

  • This is a great place to stay. The condo is very clean and Quiet. Seen a lot of Dauphins. And if you take the ferry over to Dauphin Island walk out past the fishing pier if there is still know water, there is around 100 Sea Rays living out there. Robert and Dorothy and great host. I sure you won't be disappointed
