This modern lakehouse on a wooded lot near Lloyd Shoals Dam is the ideal place to get away from it all and enjoy the many activities available on Lake Jackson. You won’t have to travel at all if you just want to enjoy the great fishing, private nature trails, swimming, play a game of foosball, or to have a family cook out on the huge deck and screened porch at the lakehouse . Just a short distance away is Martin’s Marina and the Lakeview Restaurant, City of Jackson with bowling, roller skating, golfing, antiquing and plenty of restaurants.
The house was built in 2000 and updated in 2005 so it is like new with three bedrooms and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The Master Bedroom has a king-size bed with a private bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a queen-size bed. The "kids room" has a bunk bed with a single on top and a double futon on the bottom that doubles as a sofa in the daytime. If you still need more sleeping space we have a brand new sleeper sofa in the living room. Lots of shade from the Georgia summers, but if you like you can catch some rays on the deck or on the boat dock. Bring your own boat or rent one at the marina.
Also available in the area is skydiving, antiquing, golfing, hiking, skeet shooting, horseback riding, Dauset Trails Nature Center, Jarrell Plantation, Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center, Monastery of the Holy Ghost Stained Glass Studio, or Piedmont Wildlife Management Refuge.
Fishing on Lake Jackson and in the wildlife management areas is great. The lake house is the perfect place to rest after a long day of fishing, boating or hunting. We also have a great collection of DVD’s to watch if you need a break from the outdoors.

Lake Jackson was a great choice for us because it is close to Atlanta without all the hussle and bussle that Lake Lanier has. Just a great weekend get away.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We love the great swimming in our private cove with no speed boats buzzing by but are easily able to boat out to the main section of the lake and the two near-by marinas. Great fishing and water recreation. The house is very private being surrounded by protected woodlands.
