I stayed at this place with my family to attend my graduation. We fully enjoyed staying at this lovely and clean place. There was everything we needed in the kitchen. The porch is great for relaxing and inviting people over. I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the Pineapple Inn was very relaxing. The apartment was very clean and well- maintained. We were in Wilmington for our granddaughter's state softball tournament. After a few hours at the ballpark, we were ready to return to the apartment to cool off and relax. We were able to locate restaurants by using the wireless internet. The kitchen was well- equipped and we had all the amenities that we needed. We were very close to a Food Lion and a Walgreens. Downtown Wilmington and the water front were just a few miles away.Since we were not sure how long we would be in Wilmington, Suzanne was very nice to hold a day or two for us if we needed the extra days. She even stopped by while we were enjoying the rocking chairs on the front porch. Two sets of grandparents were very comfortable in the apartment. We would recommend the apartment to friends going to Wilmington and we would stay here again if the apartment is available on our next trip to Wilmington.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pineapple Inn apartment. The own was most responsive to inquiries and our questions. She was timely and personable - she even stopped by to check on our satisfaction. Having a clean and easy to access apartment meant we could totally focus on the family we came to visit. The kitchen was well equipped with everything in working condition. We thank you for a lovely stay and look forward to a return trip in the future.

I have a group of friends from across North Carolina come to Wilmington for a convention. I was able to give them all accurate information from the online description for each of the 4 houses we rented for the weekend. We had 21 people and they all thanked me for picking such great accommodations. After each day's activities, we spent the evenings in the backyard sitting area rehashing the meetings in wonderful relaxing atmosphere. All the 4 houses were close enough for people to take a ride to the beach, visit the wonderful restaurants on Front Street and watch the sunset across from the North Carolina Battleship. Thank you so much for making our stay a wonderful experience. My friends were so pleased, they decided to put me in charge of our accommodations for future conventions. We all look forward to coming back to Wilmington and staying at all 4 of the Pineapple Inn locations.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away during the Memorial Day weekend. We found the Pineapple Inn to be just what we needed, a place of peace, serenity, and relaxation. We loved the porch while sitting back reading and talking. The commute to Wrightsville Beach and downtown Wilmington were reasonable. The only thing was our time was too short! Enjoyed the stay and will definitely consider for our next trip.

We stayed at the Pineapple Inn in May 2011 to attend a UNC-W college graduation. The house was extremely clean and very well kept. We had more than enough room and Suzanne was great to rent from - always quick to answer questions and easy to get in touch with. It is in a wonderful location and a quick drive to anywhere you would want to go, even Wrightsville Beach. The only negative thing I could say was that a neighbor's dog woke us up at 6 am one morning because it barked for about two hours. That was the only negative thing about our entire trip. We will definitely stay at the Pinapple Inn again when we return to Wilmington.

We stayed at this house for a long weekend. I would recommend it to folks that are traveling to Wilmington for work or pleasure. It is clean and comfortable. It is much nicer than staying in any hotel. Also, I would rather support the local Wilmington community than give the money to large corporate hotels. Enjoy your stay.

My two sisters and I very much enjoyed our short stay in Wilmington, thanks to Suzanne and her wonderful Pineapple Inn. Though we were in town for only a few incredibly packed days, we managed to spend some time relaxing in the comfy rockers on the porch and walking around a beautiful park just a block away. The location is great - super easy to find and convenient to everything - there is a Walgreens/CVS and Food Lion within walking distance. The area is very safe - no issues - just like everywhere, you need to be aware of your surroundings. We found the house to be like new, clean and well kept; the kitchen had everything you could possibly need for dishes, pots/pans and appliances. We didn't get a chance to meet Suzanne, but she left great instructions for it all - so there was no need to connect with her. I would absolutely recommend the property - the beds were comfortable (I lost the coin toss and wound up sleeping on the pullout sofa, but it was just fine!). The bathrooms are like new and just sparkling clean. I would definitely stay there if I find myself in Wilmington again! Thank you, Suzanne!

I would recommend this house to anyone vacationing in Wilmington. Very close to One Tree Hill locations! If we are in Wilmington again, we will definitely stay here again! :)

Our stay at the Pineapple Inn on Wisteria was perfect from start to finish. With every service at hand--wireless hi-speed internet, cable, DVD player, we felt right at home. Clean and comfortable. The nearby lake with walking path was a daily treat. Wilmington has so much to offer, and so much of it is within a short distance. And the owners are some of the nicest people I've met. I would recommend this rental for anyone!

The Pineapple Inn is a gorgeous, sparkling clean, super comfortable place to stay. The kitchen is well-equipped, the beds are unbelievably comfortable. My Dad and I stayed for just over a week and commented to each other every day how clean and comfortable our accommodations were. We really felt lucky to have found such a gem! If (when) we return to Wilmington, we would DEFINITELY stay here again! Great, great place. We cannot say enough good things about it!

My family and our friends LOVED this house! We were within walking distance of a great park (Greenfield Lake Park), within 5 minutes driving time of Downtown, and within a short drive from the beach. We spent the days exploring Wilmington and Wrightsville beaches sights and sounds, and the evenings relaxing on the wonderful front porch. The Pineapple Inn was extremely comfortable, well appointed and spacious enough for us and our friends to have our own privacy when we needed it. The Wireless Internet and Cable TV were a plus! We loved it!

We are local and in the process of remodeling our house. We needed a place to stay long-term. The Wisteria property was our life-saver. It was clean, quite and a great location. Suzanne was wonderful and worked with our contstantly changing needs. We checked out a number of the VRBO's in Wilmington and this was by far the best for the price.

In contrast the previous review, our experience this week reflected the 49 great reviews and comments! Actually, this neighborhood felt very safe. My daughter and my mother went walking at all times of day without concern. We met friendly people in a pleasant neighborhood. This area has well kept homes with nicely maintained yards. The location was ideal, close to the lake and an easy drive to downtown and the university where our daughter attended camp. The Pineapple Inn was a treat; we sat out on the porch every evening and listened to the frogs. The house was very clean and pleasantly decorated with one of the best equipped kitchens I have seen in a rented house. The owner was very helpful and provided us useful information about the area when we decided to rent. We will definitely be repeat renters and will recommend to our friends. Thanks for sharing the Pineapple Inn on Wisteria with us! Tom, Katie and family

The home is extremely well maintained, this is an immaculate property too bad it is in a very bad location. We stayed there this weekend and my boat was burglarized the seconding night of our visit. Over $1500 worth of fishing equipment taken out of the locked cabin of my boat. Police officer informed me that this was not the best area to stay in Wilmington. This is a super place but the theft of all of my fishing equipment ruined our vacation, The home is nice but this left a very bad impression on us, we will check crime reports before renting another place near the beach.
Owner response:I'm so sorry this happened! I was very disappointed that this guest never contacted me. I don't have any control over theft and it happens in all neighborhoods. My guests have always enjoyed the location and I have numerous repeat guests.....just read all the previous comments. I'd be happy to talk to someone with any concerns. I live within 1/3 of a mile from this property...so this is my neighborhood. ps I have talked to Lt. Oyler(police lt. in charge of this neighborhood) and he pulled police records and said there wasn't anything to be concerned about in this neighborhood. I also refunded this guest's entire stay(as a kind gesture) and still haven't heard any response from him.

I stayed at the Pineapple Inn on Wisteria with my two small children while visiting friends in Wilmington. We loved how comfortable, clean, and lovely the entire space was. I appreciated all the amenities of the space--fast internet (good, because I had some telecommuting work to complete), cable, nice a/c. The front porch was great, too. We will definitely stay again the next time we are in the area!

Suzanne & Jennifer, I just wanted to let you know again what a great vacation we had. The tree house is the best! I’ve never stayed in a place that made me feel so at home. Whoever made the pineapple jam, it was delicious. I’m just sorry that we didn’t get to meet either of you, the both of you have been so kind to us. We can hardly wait to come back again. Jeff said the only thing missing was a swing on the front porch! Hope to be back soon! Blessings to you both Lu Ann, Jeff & Jackie

We enjoyed our stay at the Pineapple Inn. I enjoyed specially 2 things: The head shower and the bed! After a hot day on the soccer field and at the beach, the best thing was to take a refreshing shower and go to bed in a comfortable mattress! The house was sparkling clean and it does not smell like a rental house that is been empty for a long winter season! We recommend this property to everybody! Thanks Suzanne for the delicious pineapple jam and the chocolates!

The Pineapple Inn on Wisteria is adorable and very conveniently located. It is a quick walk to Greenfield Lake (great place to run) and there is a pretty park there), close to downtown Wilmington and provides easy access to the highways that get you out to the beaches. Anything you could possibly need is near by. The house was sparkly clean and fresh when I got there. We really enjoyed our stay.

Just a few words about my stay at The Pineapple Inn on Witeria... Peace, Comfort and Hospitality! Nestled beautifully on a quiet tree-lined street, deceptively convenient to all of Wilmingtons attractions and amenienties, this lovely little cottage is the perfect escape! It is so obvious that hospitality was the objective when designing and appointing this cozy home! You thought of everything and I felt pampered and blessed while relaxing in this immaculate home away from home! Thank you.

We were delighted with the lovely, CLEAN house with all the amenities and the location was so convenient to everything we we wanted to do! We enjoyed coming "home" each afternoon to the welcoming porch - delighted to find the neighborhood a peaceful haven after days spent on the area beaches and historic sites. We enthusiastically told our friends about The Pineapple Inn on Wisteria upon returning home and look forward to returning as soon as possible! I especially appreciated the Owner's personal visit to show this technically challanged individual how to work the remotes/tv! We were so blessed by our time with you, Suzanne and Jim...Thank you!

It was so beautifully decorated with pineapple accents on the window treatment shades, outlets, etc.The house is furnished beautifly and my husband really enjoyed reclining in the leather recliner in the living room. So Comfortable! We were pleased to be greeted with a nice welcoming treat of Pinapple jam and candies. We had a wonderful time at Wilmington. We were greeted with warmth and hospitality at virtually every place we visited. The waitress at one restaurant we visited had noted that we walked to the restaurant and offered us coffee to go.
