Built in 2006, this furnished 2 level townhouse is ideal for family get togethers or a comfortable "rendezvous" venue for friends. The ski resort is the main winter attraction and the resort shuttle now makes several stops per hour at Cozen's Museum, just down the hill from the Rendezvous development.
The view and tranquil atmosphere are the townhouse's unique features. From the living room (with fireplace and balcony), as well as from the Master Bedroom, downstairs bonus room, and downstairs 2nd bedroom, you will awake to a gorgeous view of the mountains, meadow, and forest area. Just steps from the back door are the nearby hiking trails that are excellent for snow shoeing in the winter. In the distance, you can easily see the snow capped mountains.
On the entry level (upstairs), the living room has a large "L" shaped sectional with sleeper, and comfortable chair. The TV/DVD and fireplace are both great features of this room.
The bonus area downstairs is also an added plus. Furnished with a sleeper sofa, comfortable full sized pillow chair, bunkbeds, and a new TV/DVD, it is ideal for gathering to watch a movie, play games, or cuddling up to read a good book.
The garage is a nice added feature so you can access your car directly from the townhouse before driving out into the snow.
There is a wide range of activities for kids nearby. Within a few miles, there is a tubing hill (aprox. 1 mile), the YMCA of the Rockies (Snow Mountain Ranch) for cross country skiing, swimming (indoor pool) and other activities. Devil's Thumb Ranch in nearby Tabernash has a Spa, Boutique, and other activities including hiking, swimming, fishing, kayaking, etc.

Why the Owner Chose Rendezvous
I was lucky to discover Winter Park while visiting my brother and his family (who live in Boulder, CO) on a ski vacation. Winter Park and Fraser still have the small town feel to them and are so uncommercialized compared to other ski resorts. The people are down to earth, friendly, and extremely helpful. I wanted to find a place where me, my family, and friends could meet, ski, and enjoy family vacations and this is what I hope other people find at my townhouse in Rendezvous.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhouse
The location of Rendezvous is a unique benefit. It is off the beaten path so it is easy to walk out the back door and hike or snow shoe up a nearby trail or walk out onto the patio and see the moutains. We have seen a fox in the field out back a number of times. The conveniences are there as well - the shuttle stops by at the bottom of the hill to make the 1 to 2 mile ride to the resort easy. People have said that the townhouse has a special feel to it. It has been decorated with the idea that this is a special place, and guests are treated so they feel special, with all of the details taken care of for them.

I live in Orange County, California and am originally from Hershey, PA. My brother and his family (wife and 2 kids) live in Boulder, CO and I make a point to escape the hustle/bustle of CA to visit as often as possible. Colorado is my great escape!
