Why the Owner Chose Playa Langosta
My family and I fell in love with Costa Rica immediately upon arrival. It left such a great impression on us that we decided to purchase our own little Costa Rican beach retreat. We love to visit a couple times a year and to share our little piece of paradise with others.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The Playa Langosta area is so different than the big city in which we reside in Northern California. Aside from crashing waves and howler monkeys there is no noise, no traffic, and no worries. One of my favorite things to do while there is to grab a blanket, stroll down to the beach, and watch the sun set over the ocean. The sunsets in Langosta are the most beautiful that I have ever witnessed.
Other unique benefits of staying here include the amazing sport fishing, the exciting surfing, the abundance of wildlife roaming around, and of course the friendly people who share with you their "pura vida" spirit.

I stayed here on a recent trip with friends and some family who also rented out a condo on the next floor. We all agreed that it was the perfect place to stay during our visit. The location is ideal being steps away from peaceful Playa Langosta and a short stroll into Tamarindo. We loved being able to take quiet morning walks along Playa Langosta and then head to town for surf lessons, lunch/dinner or for the nightlife. The condo itself was well maintained and decked out with modern amenities and kitchen appliances. There’s a grocery store a short walk away so it was so convenient to be able to buy and make some meals and dine out on the balcony or bbq by the pool. The in-room hot tub and free wi-fi were also definite pluses. We will be back!
Recommended for:Age 55+, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This was my second trip to Costa Rica. I decided this time to upgrade to a luxury condo. It was the best vacation decision ever! The owner of the condo made the transaction as painless as possible. She was very prompt in her responses and was very helpful in giving info about the condo and Tamarindo/Langosta area. The condo itself has a breathtaking view of the ocean over the treeline and is reasonably priced. It is a short walk (about 100 meters) to Playa Langosta. Inside the condo is immaculate. The decorating looks like a magazine spread and has all the comforts of home. The pool and BBQ area is where I spent most of my time cooking and relaxing by the waterfall. There is a market nearby for any items that are needed for dining in. It is a short walk to Tamarind via the beach and an even shorter cab ride. Staying here gets you out of the "hustle and bustle" of Tamarindo so you can relax and enjoy the natural sights and sounds of Costa Rica. Staying at this condo is a must while visiting the Tamarindo/Langosta area!!!

I am absolutely in love with this vacation rental! Secure gated entrance. Awesome pool and waterfall, jacuzzi AND BBQ area. This condo has a tropical asian theme. There are two balconies with seatinng/dining area, so cool to sit and watch the rain and lightning as well as taking in the ocean view. flat screen tv! awesome kitchen! top of the line american style! there are linens, silverwares and plates, cookware as well. the bathrooms are sooo awesome, I would give anything to drop it all and move here, especially into this condo! which i might just have to make into my yearly vacation home. tiled floors, air conditioning, tiled showers, and just with in walking distances are restaurants, bars and the beach of course! the condo is super well kept! the property manager takes care of everything after your stay as well. just a 10 min walk down the beach on lowtide and you can walk all the way down to playa tamarindo. and also a 10 min walk down the road to tamarindo's city center. the listing description is VERY accurate regarding to the location. i think they even have bikes available now that you can borrow and ride into town. the property is super clean and well maintained! the owners are great and answer your questions promptly. i always refer all my friends and co-workers this condo when ever they think about going to costa rica.
