    The check in process was easy..although shores of panama employees were never notified about our stay...the owners said they didn't know where the reserved spot was in the parking garage...the parking garage is terribly unorganized and tight..on to the room..about 1/3 of the bulbs in the condo were burned out..the granite counter top was broken in a couple spots..the wireless Internet promised never worked no matter how many times I spoke to the owner..the floors at time of check in we're sandy and made the bottoms of our feet black after just a few barefoot steps..and the beds..Fred flintstone himeself would complain of back pain after a night on any bed in the condo...the furniture was all very sandy...and best of all the owner double book the condo...we still found a way to make our stay fun..the condo is big for what it's worth..and if you want to use an elevator at about noon..you'll be waiting for a good 20 minutes..the pool is great..the hot tubs are too small...needless to say..I'll be staying at Grand Panama next year

    Owner response: We are very sorry the Condo did not meet your expectations. As the owners of 18 condo's on the Gulf Coast Condo's it is our goal to make the stay for all our guest fun, relaxing, and enjoyable. This condo recently had new tile floors installed and is now 100% tile. Our cleaning company cleans all tile prior to each guests visit. The beds and mattress are about 4 years old. We do not recommend that adults sleep on the bunk beds or sofa sleepers. These should be reserved for children and teens.

    This condo couldn't have bee more perfect!!! There was PLENTY of room for us!! The balcony had a fabulous view and the property workers couldn't have been nicer. For our next beach trip, I will most DEFINITELY be contacting Kelly again!!!

    The guy that rented me the condo was very nice and came through on his promise to me. The beds are fine to sleep in. Every one in my group enjoyed the rest they got. the carpet does need to me changed, which the owner is planning on doing and the kitchen table needs replacing. In all, it was a nice place to stay in

    The condo was ok. Kitchen table was broken. Kitchen counter top was broken and the carpet was gross. All of the beds' mattresses were awful and need replaced. The master bed was like sleeping on a smashed pile of rags with a lump in the middle. The bunk mattresses were so bad the kids slept on the floor. Other than that, it was clean and it had a nice view.

    Nice condo, love the pool and the beach. Beds were awful!! Master bedroom, 2nd bedroom and bunk room all need new mattresses. The kids ended up sleeping on the floor.

    Owner response: All the mattresses in the unit are about 2 years old except the sofa sleeper mattress and it was replaced about 30 days ago.

    We really enjoyed our stay at the condo.. The only real problem were the elevators, and we had been aware this from other reviews. They could really use several more elevators...

    The room was a perfect size and we enjoyed the flexibility of the bunk bed alcove. The view was wonderful. The resort was great and the pool was a perfect option when we were tired of the beach. I also loved the kids activities. However, the room itself is dated. The carpets are worn and the couch was torn in the middle between the two back cushions and stuffing was coming out. The wifi was spotty. The TV in the living room did not work at all - no power to the cable box. The bedroom tv's were just basic stations when we finally found the remotes. We had also been told that we could charge lunch back to our room and that was not true.

    Owner response: We are sincerely sorry for any inconveniences caused by these issues. The owner has had the Sofa repaired, the wi-fi has been modified, and the TV replaced with 60 inch Flat Panel with expanded cable and movie channels. The bedroom TV's have been replaced with modern Flat panel TV's with expanded cable and movie channels. The facility is a cashless facility. When guest check in you are required to put your credit card information on file. All purchases made in the facility are then charged to your card on file.

    This place definitely did not hold up to our expectations. With all the good reviews, we were expecting a great place, but we were highly mistaken. The couch had a huge rip in it and the stuffing inside was coming out. One of the chairs had been broken and had obviously been attempted to be glued back together, noting the large crack in the chair leg and the gorilla glue in the pantry. The cable was not working the entire week we were there, and even after calling in a request to get it fixed, it was not taken care of until the day before we left. The wi-fi is very weak in the living area, and you must be in one of the bedrooms to get good service. The "bunk room" is not really a room, but what probably used to be a laundry room. Our people who slept there had to buy a curtain and curtain rod just to have a little privacy. The beds are some of the most uncomfortable ones I have EVER slept on, and I don't think any of us ever got a good night's rest. The second bedroom claims to have a queen bed, but it is actually a full. The elevators are VERY slow, and the first day we were there they broke down, forcing us to walk to the 17th floor. The parking lot is horrendous, and is not even wide enough for two cars around the corners, so you have to wait or back up to get around people. It literally took us 5 minutes just to get in or out of the lot. This place is definitely not worth what we paid for it, and we were highly disappointed. The only thing that drew us to this condo was the pool, which really was beautiful. PCB has a lot of great things to do, and we had a lot of fun away from the condo, but I highly recommend finding another place to stay.

    Staying at one of the most expensive resorts in town I expected to get what we paid for. This particular condo has seen better days. Upon arrival several things in the condo were broken. The condo owner sent a handy man out the next day to fix what he could. We were without tv and cabel most of our stay because someone had broken a piece off into the cabel port and it took several days to get that worked out. The sofa has a large rip in it. The carpet is old and stained. The dinning room table was not used because one of the chairs has simply been glued back together and the table itself is very wobbly. We were appreciative for what was fixed and the speed that it was fixed, but for the state of the place made me feel like we didn't get our money's worth. My husband and I stayed in the bunk room. It fit two full sized adults fine and the added bathroom is nice and spacious. Be warned if adults are staying in the bunk area there is no door. We went to the store and spent a couple of dollars and bought a tention rod and made a cutain out of a sheet we brought and made a privacey area. It wasn't ideal, but it did the trick. Also beware, the pillows are old, flat, and cheap. I'd recommend bringing your own. The old spring mattresses were not totally comfy either. The resort itself is very crowded in June. As previously stated by other reviewers, the wait for the elevators is very long. Being on the 17th floor and the assigned parking is on the 7th level of the parking deck getting in and out of the condo felt like it took at least 20 minutes each time between waiting for the elevator and trying to get out of 7 levels of tightly packed parking. The elevators themselves were in poor asthetic shape. They have obviously been in use for a while and maintained rarely. Most of the buttons do not light up, the display to let you know what floor you are on does not work properly, and as previously mentioned the wait is crazy long. The pool is pretty, but again very crowded in June. We had to get down pool side early in the morning because, despite the added lawn chairs, there are no where near enough chairs to accomodate the volume of people. We were made to wear wrist bands to access the pool. They expect you to wear them the entire time you are there because if you loose them they want $10 to replace them. We simply stretched our bands till they came off so we could go in public without looking like the wrist band club. The staff was friendly and accomodating

    This was a great place to stay all around. The owners were easy to work with, and they provided us all of the information that we needed before arrival. They were also very accommodating to our group of people. The resort itself was amazing. The pool was great, direct access to the beach, and the customer service was very nice. The room is exactly as it looks, everything was nice and clean. The only issue I had with this condo was the pullout couch. It was very uncomfortable for those who slept on it and we had to actually rotate people so that no one had to sleep on it the entire week. Other than that I would highly recommend this condo. The resort is one of the nicest that you will see in the area, the space was great, and the entire transaction was very easy.

    Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway.

    Arrived on August 7th and stayed thru the 12th. The people at the desk were very nice and gave us everything we needed for our stay ( room keys, coupons, etc). The pool was beautiful especially from the from our room all lit up at night. The pool had an awesome tiki bar and grill right there at the pool. The white sandy beaches and crystal blue water were also beautiful. Alot of nice restaurants and amusements in walking distance. I would advise to eat at Hunt's Oyster Bar in Panama City. A little hole in the wall palce, but excellent food. Would definitely stay here again. Only bad thing about the condo is the blinds. Would definitely reccomend new blinds.

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

    My family enjoyed our stay at the Shores of Panama! The only set backs were the elevators ( VERY long wait to get up & down from the 17th floor ) & the carpet in our condo could have been cleaner. Other than that, the location is great & the kids had a blast!

    GREAT STAFF, NO PROBLEM W/CHECK IN OR CHECK OUT. CONDO CLEAN AND ROOMY, EXCELLENT VIEW OF POOL & BEACH. EVERYTHING GOOD EXCEPT FOR BLINDS TO BALCONY WOULD NOT CLOSE & HAD TROUBLE W/ WIFI CONNECTION OTHERWISE EVERYTHING WAS GOOD . WILL BE BACK AGAIN. MANY PLACES WITH IN WALKING DISTANCE OF CONDO

    My family and I stayed in this condo over Thanksgiving. When we arrived we were amazed at the cleanliness of the condo and gorgeous view from our balcony. There were 6 adults and 3 children in this 2 bedroom + bunk room, that slept very comfortably. The weather was cold while we were there, but we still got to enjoy the indoor pool. The condo is in the perfect location with Walmart across the street and Pineapple Willy's next door.

    We stayed at this property Labor Day Weekend and had a fantastic and relaxing time. The condo was well kept, clean, and spacious. The check in process was simple and the staff onsite was top notch. Great property atmosphere and everything we needed was close by. We will stay here again in the future.

    WOW! We stayed in unit 1704 at the Shores of Panama the week of July 6, 2009. Kelly Patterson was such a delight to work with and very accomodating. The furnishings in the condo were amazing as was the pool and ocean view. We hated to leave and when we called Kelly to see if it were possible to stay an additional night, he was very accomodating. We plan to return to PCB and our entire group is in agreement that we must stay in this unit again! Thanks Kelly for a wonderful vacation to remember.

    All I can say is WOW!!! The whole experience was awesome. From the ease of booking to our stay. Kelly was so easy to work with. The furnishings were great, and there was so much room. Everything was so clean. We loved having enough TVs so that everyone could watch what they wanted. The pool was incredible. And being able to view both the beach and the pool was great. When our teens were at the pool, we could sit on the balcony and still watch them even from the 17th floor. If we go back to Panama City, we will definitely book the exact same room. Thanks soooo much!!!

    We loved the condo. It was in a great location right across the road from Wal-Mart. Kelly was very easy to work with. The beach view was awesome. I will rent from Kelly again in the future.

    This was an awesome place to take the whole family.Loved that Security was onsite.Having a full kitchen made it easy to serve up the fish we caught at St. Andrews Bay Park.Our children loved the pool..all 18,000 square ft. of it! The walk to the Ocean was just a short stroll.TV's in each bedroom made it easy for the ones that didn't agree on what to watch.Having 3 bath rooms made it easy for all of us!The children Loved taking turns sleeping on the bunk-beds.Having a washer&dryer in house was great not having to wash clothes when we returned home was a Plus.Our trip to the beach in over 12 years was a blessing because of all the comforts of home. Thanks Mr.Patterson for all the ease in planning our Family's Vacation.The only surprises were the sites to see while we were there! Look forward to Utilizing your services in the future!

    We had a great time in Panama City, FL. The stay at The Shores of Panama was absolutely top rate. The check in process was very easy and parking was perfect. The condo was beautiful and my girls loved the bunk beds. The beach was just as perfect. The pool was huge and still was able to swim in it in March. We will be back in the summer and we will be saying again at The Shores of Panama. Mr. Kelly Patterson was great to work with and we were able to get in contact with him when we needed to. Our 7 and 8 year old girls had everything there at the condo to do and the other attractions were very close by. Thanks for a Great Vacation we will definitely be back soon.     We had a wonderful vacation and are considering renting from Kelly Patterson at the Shores of Panama the next time we go to Panama City, FL. Everything worked out very well, even the elevator seemed to be there waiting for us everytime we needed it. We had the best time ever!

    We absolutely loved our stay at Shores of Panama. It was easy checking in and the parking deck was nice too. The car was always cool when we were ready to go out. The view from the 17th floor was awesome and the pool is huge! We had a great time!

    We had a great week at Shores of Panama. The check in process was very easy. The condo was beautiful! The food and drinks at the tiki bar were very good and reasonably priced. They also had activities at night by the pool for the children. They had dance-dance revolution, guitar hero and other competitions. My 11 and 9 year boys old had a great time participating those. The beach was beautiful!! Our room was clean. The only negative was being on the 17th floor and waiting for an elevator. It was very easy to rent from Kelly Patterson and we will go back to Shores of Panama.

    Great condo - we really enjoyed our stay. The 4th of July was great with everyone shooting fireworks right in front of the condo !! We were really impressed with how friendly all the staff was and how helpful they were. The drinks at the Tiki bar were "to die for" !! Thanks for such a great week !!

    We ahd a great time on our trip on Memorial Day week-end. The condo was everything they claimed it would be. The weather was great. the only issue was the elevator service, but considering the crowd, the wait was not that bad. Besides the view from the 17th floor was worth the wait. It is a placre I would definitely consider staying at again

    Our stay at the Condo at Panama City Beach was great! No problems making reservations, checking in or out--everybody we talked to was very friendly and helpful. The accommodations were excellent -- beautifully decorated and comfortable. The swimming pools were very nice, both inside and out. Easy access to the beach. Our family vacation was very enjoyable.     Our family recently stayed at The Shores of Panama city Beach. It was just wonderful! The view of the pool and beach were awesome! The place was very clean, extemely quiet, and had everything we needed. The booking of our stay was very easy, quick and exactly as described. Our deposit was credited back to our bank account the same week we returned home. The location was outstanding! Anything we wanted to do was right near our place, miniature golf, Walmart, dining, shopping. My only complaint, the 3 million dollar pool is not heated! The water was so cold, even our kids would not get in. The hot tub was nice and luckily it was pretty big, because that is where most of the guests went. Almost every morning we watched dolphins play in the ocean right off our balcony. We would absolutely stay again, this place is a great place to stay! The staff was very nice. The tiki bar was the greatest! The beach right out front was not crowded and the sand was like powder sugar! I can not say enough about this fabulous place!

    Wonderful time. Beautiful view of the Gulf from the balcony and bedrooms. Very nice clean condo with fresh look. Stayed in Feb 2008 and the weather was Spring like and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accomadating. The only thing that we have negative to say was the halls are mostly open to the outside and when it rained you had to go out into the bad weather when going out. Have a small game room for the children and a nice indoor pool which was wonderful during cool times. Would definitely stay again!

    The condo was roomy and clean. Description as stated was accurate. Very nice condo, but needed more activities inside site. Did not have fitness room yet, but beautiful pool area. I would recommend this to anyone.

    We stayed at the Shores of Panama City for 4 nights the day after Christmas. It was a wonderful and relaxing experience. The only regret is not staying longer. We have a timeshare in Cancun and our experience at the Shores was just as pleasant as our visits to Cancun. Which is amazing that a trip to a Florida beach can come so close to our experience in Cancun. We highly recommend this resort and will probably return.

    The unit was brand new and fabulous! The views of the morning and afternoon sun were great. Sunset views could be seen from the bedrooms. The grounds were beautiful and we look forward to returning in warmer weather when we can use the outdoor pool.
