Only 30 minutes minutes from Tampa airport and 20 minutes to Clearwater/St. Petersburg Airport. It’s a short 15 minute drive to gulf beaches and Honeymoon and Caladesi Islands State Park. Only 5 or 10 minutes to shopping, Old Tampa Bay, Lake Tarpon and John Chesnut Park with boat ramp. Lake Tarpon has some of the best fresh water fishing in the state.

Some of the attractions include a large private swimming pool, whirlpool and clubhouse. The complex is adjacent to Tarpon Woods Golf and Country Club. There are 6 other semi-private or public golf courses within 10 miles. Lake Tarpon with John Chesnut Park and a boat ramp is roughly a mile away. It’s only about six miles to Honeymoon and Caladesi Islands. The latter is often rated as one of the top ten beaches in the United States. Close by is the historic Greek fishing village of Tarpon Springs with its popular sponge docks, restaurants and shops. Major league football (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), hockey (Lightning) and baseball (Devil Rays) teams play in the area. Several major league baseball teams also have their spring training here. Horse racing is nearby at Tampa Bay Downs racetrack. Shopping, restaurants and movie theaters are also nearby. Charters are available for both deep sea and fresh water fishing. Kayaking is popular in the area.
