A little further is Sapphire Beach, famous for it's brilliant turquoise blue water and white sandy beach. On Sunday afternoon, one of the well known local bands will play lively Caribbean music. All are welcome to join in the fun. Next comes Red Hook. A lively community with many wonderful eating, shopping and browsing spots. Also the location of the ferry dock for trips to St. John and Tortola. And of course, don't forget the duty free shopping centered in and around the main harbor of Charlotte Amalie with its historic sites.
