Welcome! We are pleased to introduce our fabulous privately-owned, ultra-luxury Heart of Telluride Penthouse. This property is the finest penthouse in Telluride and is owned by Katrine and Bill Formby. It is located in the heart of downtown and is only two blocks to the gondola. The location is one of the most coveted in Telluride.
The penthouse has ultra high-end finishes including fireplaces and sleek flat-screen TVs in every room, Venetian plaster throughout, antique beveled glass windows, an all stainless kitchen with Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, All-Clad cookware, couture Frette and Eve Delorme linens, velvety robes and slippers, original art, iPod docks, desk and wireless Internet, onsite caretaker and the most stunning, spectacular views you can imagine from the private deck and hot tub.
The bedroom level is located on the third floor with three bedrooms and three baths. Each bedroom has a unique feature -- a beautifully designed copper and leather-topped fireplace, antique sconces, a hand-carved fireplace surround or original art. The beds are made with the finest Frette linens and duvets. Every effort was made to make this property a thing of comfort and beauty - a nest of luxury.
The penthouse great room, kitchen and deck are on the fourth floor with jaw-dropping vistas. Our guests routinely have friends and family up for wine on the deck, a chat by the fireplace, cooking on the grill, sitting in the spa or to attend a wedding reception or open house. If you are guests in this penthouse, you will want to share it. The beauty is spectacular.
Of special note: This penthouse was chosen as a semi-finalist for the 2008 Neiman Marcus Wishbook and was also featured by The New York Times in their Escape section in 2008. Both were unsolicited acknowledgments of the beauty and uniqueness of this penthouse.
The Heart of Telluride Penthouse is surrounded by everything you need for a perfect vacation -- the finest restaurants in Telluride are within one to three blocks, shopping is just out the front entry as is the movie theater. The grocery is one block, the pharmacy and bookstore are across the street and the mountains totally surround you. The galleries and the museum are within three blocks as well.
During the winter, our guests love our complimentary ski valet service at the gondola - a wonderful perk that 100% of our winter guests use.

The one bedroom unit sleeps up to four people including the comfortable queen sofa sleeper. These two properties can be combined for larger groups of friends and family.
