"Rapunzel's Tower" is a private Casita (guest house) with enchanting views of the turquoise sea and the rolling mountains of Los Barriles. 4 miles from town, it is the perfect get-away from the hustle and bustle of the States. A 2-minute walk down a magical, meandering arroyo path brings you to a tranquil beach with great snorkeling reefs, wind-surfing, kite boarding and fishing spots.
The casita is new with high ceilings and arched windows. Smooth Saltillo tiles add Mexican charm and beauty. The cozy bedroom and full bath are located on the third floor. Downstairs is the kitchen/living room, and right out the door is a family-sized stone bathtub! There is nothing better than relaxing in the stone bath at night with a cool drink while looking at the sea and the stars.
There is a garage available for storing your kite boarding, fishing and windsurfing equipment.
Share our recreational "toys": windsurf gear, mountain bikes, surfboard, surf fishing rod, and snorkeling gear.
Fishermen! We can arrange to have a charter boat pick you up on the beach right in front of the house. The Casita overlooks one of the best beach fishing spots around. Watch for the pelicans, grab your rod, and go catch some Roosterfish, Sierra, Pargo, and Jack Crevalles.
If you don't feel like cooking, we can arrange to have catered meals delivered at a cost of $12 per meal, per person.
We have an additional Master bedroom (King size bed/full bath)with views of the Sea and stars for an additional $75 a night.
