We've only been gone from this vacation home for 9 hours and already I'm missing the sounds of the waves and the vastness of the ocean as viewed from the deck! This home is comfortable, well-equipped, and quiet even though close to PCH. Every night is an ocean lullaby and the breezes were cool. This was our first time to Malibu and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Come here either to relax and go nowhere at all, or use it as fantastic base to make day trips and explore So Cal. We visited the Ronald Reagan Library in Simi Valley, Disneyland, Getty Villa in Malibu, Theatre Palisades, Pepperdine, beaches, Santa Monica Pier, shopping and read on the deck every night! Fantastic Stay-Cation

I desperately needed a vacation after working 60+ hour weeks in my high intensity job. I didn't have much time to plan so I looked for a get-a-way that was close to LA but far enough away to help decompress. I wasn't sure I could do it, but after three night of the calming 180-degree view of the ocean, the smell of the sea air, and falling and waking to sounds of the ocean, I was refreshed. The 2 bedroom/2 bath apt was very clean and had all the amenities of home so I never needed anything. Also, the TV has every cable channel so I was able to catch up on many of the shows I never have a chance to watch using the OnDemand feature. Spectrum was close by so I could use my membership to work out, and Malibu Colony Plaza wasn't too far off for a day of shopping at Intermix and like-stores. The property is beautiful and I can't speak highly enough about it!

I spent this past weekend with my girlfriend at the condo as an early Valentine's Day staycation. I live locally in Beverly Hills but was looking for a place with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The place was quiet, clean, very well decorated and with an amazing balcony and lanai from which we could hear the waves and watch the dolphins play. It was all that was advertised and I will be staying here again.

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We thoroughly enjoyed the condo and the amazing view. The condo was also well stocked and met all our needs. It was very clean and very accommodating and comfortable. We plan to revisit in the future.

Our family met in Malibu for Christmas. The condo is spacious and gorgeous, plus the view cannot be exaggerated. By some neat trick of geography, we could see sun-up and sun-down from the same windows. It is also in a very convenient location. The entire vacation was wonderful and special. Everyone in my family recommends this spot.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful condo with us. We LOVED your place, it was breathtaking from the moment we got there - the setting, the gorgeous views, the sounds of the ocean all night long, the peaceful deck and comfortable day bed out there to really enjoy it all. It was exactly what we were looking for and we had a most awesome time there. And we were lucky enough to see two firework shows right from there too! We are both missing it so much already, wishing we were back there. It's only been just over a week ago, but In the "real world", our lives are so busy that it already seems like forever since we were in Malibu. But our getaway was perfect, absolutely perfect. We'll definitely keep your place in mind for sometime again in the future.

The best "stayvacation". I only live 12 minutes away, but it was the ideal beach getaway without the drive or getting on a plane. Owners are super, gracious and have thoughtful amenities throughout the beautifully decorated, yet very comfy home. Spent all my time reading and sleeping on the daybed on the deck looking out at the ocean. Perfect winding down after an overseas business trip. Would definitely highly recommend and plan to be back. Stayed here June 2009 with 3 other friends. This condo is absolutely beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. This does not feel like a place you're renting, it feels like home! It was so comfortable setting on the balcony enjoying the ocean, dolphins, and surfers. The breeze was breath taking! We enjoyed watching movies and listening to the many cd's that were available. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very roomy so we didn't feel like we were all on top of each other. We were all very pleased at how nice the condo was and for Valerie's generosity!! We couldn't have stayed in a better place! I don't think it could be possible for anyone to have a single complaint about this condo...It's amazing! We hope to be back again someday! Thanks for having us!!

Valerie, You were an absolute joy to work with ... and the condo was PERFECT in every way. It truly was a HOME for us -rather than just a place to stay while attending our daughter's wedding in Malibu. Every amenity was there ... and then some - including a basket of treats and fresh flowers. WOW! The view was absolutely breathtaking. Easy access to PCH restaurants and attractions. Biggest high was sleeping with doors open and listening to the ocean. Not one single downer. Can hardly wait to come back again ... and we WILL!!!

This is a copy of an email we received from a recent guest, Cassandra Jordan, who gave me permission to post her comments. It was cut and pasted and isn't edited at all. We had a great time!!!!!!!!!! I have memories of classical music playing upon my arrival. As I walked through the entry, I saw your beautiful granite kitchen (which I now refer to as "the every thing you could possibly think a person would ever need in a kitchen- "kitchen") You even had spices. The view of the ocean and the special touch you have given this home gave us a sense of peace as we walked through. The entire house is fully equiped with all one might need in every room, and it's spacious. The beautiful bathrooms even had q-tips and cottonballs!!! I can still see the bed with the brown leather headboard, the well appointed llinens...... soothing colors of blue and brown hues ....and the picturesque view of the Pacific Ocean from the master livingroom, diningroom and kitchen. It was absolutely breathtaking. The fresh sunflowers and white candles on the dining room table were a nice touch. We spent hours on the balcony sleeping and taking in the view....The ocean air was so soothing. We didn't get to watch the movies, but I noticed that you had quite a few dvds to choose from. Also, thanks for the extensive genre of music. Yes Valerie, thanks for all of your attention to detail. Mission accomplished girl! From the first incredible view of the ocean (from the bed!) in the morning, to the last glimpse of the string of sparkling lights down the coast in the evening, this lovely home makes you welcome and comfortable. The furniture, appliances and feel are at the same time elegant and soothing, and every amenity has been provided. And the space is larger than the pictures make it appear. As soon as we walked in the door everyone agreed we had made the right choice, and this is the best value on the coast. You could stay here happily and watch the dolphins,seals and surfers out the window,and it makes great base from which to explore. Valerie is wonderful to work with, and our entire experience was excellent(with the exception of having to leave.)

We just returned from our AWESOME stay in Malibu - 7/19-7/26/08. This home is everything you see listed, and more. The unit is so clean, and fully stocked in every way. The linens and towels are beautiful, and oh so soft!! Our kids are 21 & 17, and we never felt "on top" of each other. There is definitely plenty of room for two families. If you think the view looks great in the pictures, you should see it in person! We never got tired of sitting on the patio and watching the waves, dolphins, and surfers. We have beautiful beaches here in Michigan, but I must say the beaches in Malibu are simply breathtaking. This was an awesome value for all that we received. Valerie is very easy and friendly to work with, so if you're looking for that special getaway, this is your answer!

Great condo, fantastic views, walking distance to Getty Villa, close to Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach and many nice restaurants. DId I mention the great views? We had a fantastic time! Valerie and Justin were great hosts. I did I lot of research on Malibu vacation rentals and this place is the best value in Malibu.

We stayed there in March 07. It is absolutely fantastic. Quite beautiful inside. Great porch to look at dolphins (saw dolphins everyday). Very reliable owners who clearly take great pride in their home. No issues with deposit, prompt return. This is our third VRBO experience in the United States and our best to date. We are two doctors and the home is decorated and kept up better then our own home! Convenient to both Malibu and Santa Monica. We will definately stay there again when we come back.
