My Dragonboat team and I stayed at the Manor to attend the Dragonboat Festival in Penticton. The house was so fabulous and peaceful that it was hard to go and do the races. We couldn't wait to get back each day and relax on our own beach. The house was spacious and incredibly comfortable. We loved it.

Just had to drop a note to say how much we enjoyed our stay at the "mansion".We just confirmed our booking for this year and had to let you know that we are so pleased to be able to stay with you again,so much so that we are now tainted against any other rental as none of them compare to Lake Shore.The fact that every one has a beautiful room of their own and enough space that we never felt crowded is a huge selling point for our large group.The beauty at this destination just sets the perfect tone to a wonderful wine tour getaway.Your attention to detail is exeptional.From the gourmet kitchen,we are all in the "food industry" in one form or another so the meals are a big part of the trip and this set up is perfect in that everyone is able to be involved in one way or another and the chefs are not tucked away,removed from the action, due to the open floor plan and that everyone gets a seat with a view of the lake .The beach side fires,the boats,and the games room.We had many a hard fought nights at the ping pong table.Your location is perfect for exploring the local wine scene without the need of a long day driving .Our only problem is how do we pick when we have so many options.Same with the golf. Thanks,for making our get a way so special. we will be back for many more great memories

GOLFER GROUP/ FAMILY GATHERING....IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER!!!

We were a golfers girl's group that stayed at this fantastic home. We were so close to two great golf courses (Nk'imp & Fairview Mtn) that we will be going back. Great views too. The private home is right on Vaseau Lake with a large grass area for kids to play and we enjoyed siting down on the beach having a bonfire and siping our wine after a hard day on the course. The rec room with three game's table was the source for many laughs one night. The best feature of this house is the kitchen (lots of dishes/glasses/cutlery, pots/pans, serving trays, two refridgerators, two ovens, spices, and the list goes on). It is so well equiped and the island is a great spot to 'help' with the meals. This house has set a new standard for us because each person had their own bedroom!! It doesn't get any better! Thank you.

The Perfect Thanksgiving Getaway

What a fabulous long weekend we spent in your home. There were 14 of us -- 8 adults and 6 kids (aged 9 through 14). The space was perfect with so many bedrooms and so many rooms to spread out. There was something for everyone. The grownups enjoyed touring the many wineries in the area, and then coming home to cook wonderful meals and drink great Okanagan wines. The kids loved the beach and the boats, as well as the games room. All of us enjoyed a campfire after dinner. And the views are amazing. We caught a stunning sunset on the last evening, with the sun streaming through the clouds to shine beautifully on the rocks to the east. Thanks for everything Trish. I can see why you love this place. Hopefully we'll see you again next year.

We stay at this property every summer during last 3 years and it's never tears down, everything just gets better. We always enjoy the property, surraoundings, the way the property is managed and how everything you need you find there. There are so many (too numerous to list) special features of your home that made it the perfect vacation spot for our young families. -The view is absolutely stunning! - The beach was perfect for the kids - The house is beautiful and shows a lot of care and thought with how well the kitchen is outfitted (We love all the flowers and pictures too!). We truly appreciated your guide response and professionalism right from the booking stage through to the end of our stay. Some of our favorite hightlights...Being on the water, reading on the beach, water fights, seeing wildlife up close, (deer, quail, duck and Canada geese). Catching a fish. We also enjoyed going to various wineries. Our favorites were "Silver Sage, Gehinger Bros, Elephant Island). The kids loved the games room. Thanks very much, we enjoyed ourselves and hope to return (and use the firepit).

It's truly such a pleasure for me. I had the honour of speaking with Jean who was arranging the logistics of her family gathering. She was battling cancer at the time we spoke and sadly she passed away before the event took place. I was really touched to hear her family wanted to still attend in her honour. Her sister left a note in the guest book that said it all... "A peaceful place for healing"

Well finally, a month has passed and I have come back to éarth' and want you know how much my children, their spouses, my grandchildren and myself enjoyed Lakeshore Manor. What a setting to celebrate my special birthday. From the moment I entered through the doors of the Lakeshore Manor I just knew we had chosen the best venue for this event. As I strolled throughout the home I felt safe, loved, and abundantly blessed. As the families arrived they too were awestruck with the majesty of the home, the views, the entertainment, and the fishing, OH yes the fishing. My youngest grandson practically lived on the water, be it in the canoe or paddle boats. We took numerous photos while games were played, birthday gifts opened and even the hikes up the mountain . Wine tours were a hit and the weather was a superb 26 and 27 C on the two days The kitchen was the best of the best for our group, serving buffet style was great for my family. The bedrooms were almost too beautiful to want to climb into bed, how special we all felt. Last but not least I was treated like a queen as I was given the master suite, such luxury I have never known. We were all sad to leave and the conversation was ''Shall we do this next year??? My friends and i came here for a husband's retreat and we weren't disappointed. From the cleanliness to the overwhelming size of the property, we gazed in amazement. Huge BBQ grill, basketball hoop, full on games room equipped with Foosball, Ping Pong and Air Hockey, gourmet kitchen; what else could you ask for. Not to mention the beautiful location right on Vasseux Lake. Thanks guys for making our retreat one of the best ever. We will return next year!

We stayed at Lakeshore Manor the first week in May, 2009. We rented the house so that our family (us the Mom and Dad and our 3 grown children and their significant others). It was a fabulous place to spend a vacation. Very relaxing and even though the weather was not the best, it was no problem because we spent most of our time in the huge kitchen and great room, cooking meals for each other and playing lots of games. The area had something for everyone, including canoeing, hiking, wine tasting and shopping. The soaker tub in the master suite was the most comfortable tub I've ever experienced. Thanks Trish and Daryl for sharing your beautiful home.

Joining together from many parts: AB, Chicago, Pheonix, Ottawa. Celebrating our 30th Anniversary plus a few "50th" birthdays was made possible by having this home and beautiful scenery available to us. We took part in much golfing and visiting wineries, taking part in a cooking class, picking up a few quilts from the local quilt maker and of course, the lake with some fishing and canoeing. Last but not least (the masages) provided by Anna really put us all at ease and able to get to even more wineries! The memories we've created will last a lifetime and we'll always look back to the very special time we had at Lakeshore Manor!

We had the pleasure of spending time at this absolutely luxurious and breathtaking property and we were not only in awe with the astonishing view and serene atmosphere but with the utmost desirable amenities this home offered us. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from listening to music while we cooked in the amazing massive kitchen, while we sat by the cozy indoor fireplace, when we enjoyed a private evening hot tub and while we sat around the outdoor, lakefront fire pit. The tranquil spa room with the heated massage table, the games room and the big screen T.V. were just some of the extra highlights we particularly loved. Thank you so much, Trish and Daryl for the wonderful hospitality. We cannot wait to plan our next stay.

The pictures do not show the true beauty and elegance of Lakeshore Manor. We spent a week of our Christmas vacation there and will definately return when it is available. We prepared gourmet meals in the georgeous fully equipped kitchen, ate by candlelight and relaxed by the fireplace while we listened to music, or watched big-screen cable TV and movies/sports. The evenings ended with a Hot Tub overlooking the lake and up at the stars, and a comfortable sleep in the luxurious master bedroom. It was wonderful!! A warm thanks to Daryl and Trish from Dave and Claudi.
