My husband and I were traveling with our 22 year old niece and our 2 young boys, 15 mos and 3 yrs old. This was the perfect condo for us- clean and 'as advertised'. The only thing we never could find was a crib sheet...so we improvised a little. We never called the 'front desk' which was our decision. The 'toy' closet was well-stocked (beach mats, beach towels, sand toys, balls, snorkel set, tennis balls, bocce ball, cooler bags, beach bags, etc). We made some 'donations' when we left of sand toys, a boat, blow-up toys for the pool, beach mats, can coolies, etc. Didn't want to haul it all home! We ended up renting a 2-seater wagon, tricycle, high chair and baby back pack from Dorkel's Snorkel in Waikoloa Village. A high chair would have been great if it had been available and we really found one necessary for a 15 mos old. The wagon was great for hauling the kids and their stuff to the pool area. Our only complaint about the pool was it was always much colder than the ocean! But the kids enjoyed it and it was nice that there was an area that our 15 mos old could walk around in in his floatie (very shallow in that part). The location is nice- not the closest too the pool but an OK walk. But a great place to be on the Kohala Coast. And after we learned how to get to the condo the 'back way' via the road that turns off to the right immediately after the WBR area entrance, it made 'coming and going' that much easier. My husband (and a friend who was also staying on the island at the same time) also enjoyed the golf discount immensely and preferred the King's course. A big plus for sure! The Master Bed was very comfy (I like a soft bed) but I could see how it might be 'too soft' for some. We liked that the Master was on the opposite end of the condo. The twin bed my niece used (near the closet) in the other bedroom seemed really 'noisy' for some reason. We couldn't figure out why after examining it. She just had to be careful not to toss and turn too much or she woke up the baby. The bed my 3 year old used seemed much quieter. We also enjoyed the lanai in the am and at night after the kids had gone to to bed to relax or play cards. We used the grill one night too (and one night we used the grill at the pool to have a sunset dinner). The kitchen was pretty well-stocked, too with spices, olive oil, etc. We had to buy some salt so we left a large container of that behind as well. Plus some paper plates. We would highly recommend this property to anyone!

We had a wonderful time in paradise. We loved the condo and Hali'i Kai is one of the most beautiful places we've ever found. The condo is very well equipped with everything we needed for the beach, plenty of books for me to read by the pool, and DVD players in both the living room, and second bedroom. We went on a Zip Line tour over Umauma Falls and had the time of our lives. We will definitely be back and next year and we will stay longer.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo is very well equipped. Having all the manuals for the villa, as well as the electronics available was very helpful. My husband enjoyed golfing and appreciated access to the "Gold Membership." The only negatives were the foam top on the bed in the master; it was too soft and too warm and it would have been more comfortable with and additional armchair in the living room area. These were minor concerns, we managed and still loved the place. We did a lot of great activities and had a fabulous time. Thanks again.

We had a wonderful time here! Your condo is so nice and peaceful. We had everything we needed. My kids were thrilled to have a t.v. in every room as well as a DVD player. It was truly a home away from home! Thank you so much and we plan on coming back! Mahalo.

All of us had an absolutely wonderful time here at your condo. The Ocean Club is amazing and we used the facilities there every day. It's the BEST workout view I've ever had. I also thoroughly enjoyed the golf and the terrific prices that your membership afforded us. We loved the Island of Hawaii and will be back for another visit!

This villa had everything we needed all the amenities mentioned!!! We enjoyed our stay here! It was clean, cozy and convenient! Beaches and market place really close, you could even walk to the market place for a starbucks coffee and just enjoy the walk on your way there. I would book this place again in a heart beat when visiting the Big Island again! Thank you so much!

4 of us (all adults) stayed at this beautiful 2-bedroom condo for 10 days from Nov 3-13, 2010. Everything was as advertised. Very comfortable, well appointed and extremely clean. It was a lovely home for our stay. The bonus for me was the great rates I was able to get at the two Waikoloa Golf Courses where the owners have a Gold Membership which affords their visitors a huge savings. The Hali Kai Resort is amazing (the grounds are immaculate) and we spent many wonderful hours at the Ocean Club Recreation facility where we enjoyed the pools, hot tub and the spectacular views! The owners were responsive to our needs and very attentive. We'll be heading back here someday soon!
Owner response:We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to having you stay with us again in the future.
