"Casetta di Santi" (Italian for "little home of the saints") is a 1926 beach bungalow in lovely South Redondo Beach in Southern California. Walking distance to the beach, the Redondo Pier, and Redondo "King Harbor," Starbucks, Whole Foods market, and numerous excellent restaurants, Casetta di Santi allows you to enjoy the gift of living next to the Pacific Ocean. The Casetta creaks with the warm character of the original hardwood floors and is lovingly furnished in accordance with its cozy charm. The kitchen and two bathrooms have been remodeled to bring appliances and water pipes into the modern era. A separate dining area accommodates four people.

A romantic garden with fragrant plants, flowers and fruit trees, the spacious backyard provides several patios for an al fresco meal or drinking in a good book while listening to the trickle of the fountain. Guests are encouraged to bring in flowers from the garden that blooms in every season. "Casetta di Santi" gets its name from the statues of Saints Francis, Anthony and Mary, all of which were gifts to the owner over a 20 year period, and are nestled in the leafy grottoes of the garden. These saints have faithfully showered continuous blessings on all those who dwell in the Casetta for a generation, a decade, or even a few days.

  • I really recommend this house to anyone who seeks a vacationhouse near the beach, restaurants, shopping, good location for visiting Sea World, Disney Land and other areas in LA. The neighbourhood is really nice and quiet. The house is beautiful with small things that really make you feel at home. The owners Olivia and Dave do their outmost before and during your visit to see that you have the best stay in your home away from home. I do not have anything negative to say either about the house or the neighbourhood. As our 16 year old daughter said "I want to move here" She loved it in California and the beach that is very close to the house. If we ever have the possibility to come back to LA we would definitely rent from Olivia and Dave again.
