Turin- Adriano greeted us at the airport which provided that touch of extra help for a wandering traveler, he also was kind enough to take us to the train station on our way out. He is a consummate host. The apartment is small but efficient, it is directly across the street from a grocery store, and a cafe is open on the ground floor of the building with incredible pastries. Directly on the tram line, you are 4 stops from the historic center. For the price, an excellent choice and Adriano will support any of your needs. We truly enjoyed our time in Turin because of the convenience and comfort of Adriano's sweet place.
Owner response:Thank you J & S, you were very nice and smiling guests, I really enjoyed having you! You left the apartment very clean and tidy, thank you very much - we would like to welcome you again!

The apartment is warm and comfortable, is located close to the center and well connected by public transport. However you can also walk to the center. The owner Mr. Adriano is extremely nice and helpful as well as the nearby. On the corner of the building you can find a nice coffee shop, I had the traditional Italian breakfast (cappuccino e conrnetto) there every day. If you plan to spend time only in the city you will not need a car, but in case you can fined close by also the car rental agency Hertz and AVIS. Facing to the apartment you have a mall for you every day shop.
Owner response:Thank you very much for your nice and detailed review, I am happy that you've spent a good holiday in Turin. Thank you again and I wish you a Happy New Year! Adriano

Adriano met us at the airport and took us straight to the apartment which was perfect for us! The location is ideal for getting into the city - the no. 4 tram is just round the corner and the no. 63 bus on the otherside of the road! A well-equipped homely place to stay with a welcoming and honest host too.

This apartment is exactly as described. It is a very nice apartment, very clean, and fully equiped and furnished. It is very conveniently located - I walked to the center of Turin every day in about 30 minutes, but the bus stop and tram stop are right outside the door and take 5 minutes to the center. The small balcony is a nice feature of the apartment as are the big windows in the bedroom and doors to the balcony from the kitchen and bathroom. The owner is extremely nice and helpful - he picked me up at the airport and took me there on leaving for less than you would pay a taxi. I was very pleased with this apartment and plan to stay there again.
Owner response:Thank you Pamela for your nice words, you also been a guest quiet and very attentive to the apartment. See you! Ciao

Before booking, I read reviews and I thought 'really? could the owner really be that nice?" Well the answer is yes. He fetched me at the station and it was a welcome relief not to have to lug my bags after a long day of train travel. The apartment is charming and felt very much like a home as opposed to a generic, hotel room. A light sleeper might want to bring ear plugs because in summer with the windows open you do hear the trams going up and down the corso. The upside of this is that there is a tram right there to whisk you to Torino's downtown (I can recommend the Museo di Arte Orientale in addition to the more famous and established Museo Egizio)... or to the train station...or to the metro station where you can catch the subway out to Eataly (if go at meal times, you can eat out there). Supermarket across the street, a café downstairs, comfortable and welcoming apartment, friendly and helpful landlord... a great place to stay!
Owner response:Thank you so much Lee! Your review is very very KIND and... generous to me. A special thanks for how you treated the apartment Adriano

We found this apartment very comfortable, accurate to its description on the website, and particularly convenient to the supermarket and the tourist attractions both in the nearby suburbs (Mercato /GAM) and the city, being on the tram and bus lines, and enjoyed Turin with its Parisian comparisons as a pleasant change from cobbled Rome etc. The building and apartment was clean, well maintained, safe, and had the comfort of a neighbour's assistance should the need arise (which did not). The owner was pleasant, full of local knowledge and extremely helpful in picking us up from the train and taking us to the airport. The position of the attractive art deco building is somewhat noisy being on a corner and tram line but we had just come from an ultra quiet location so perhaps noticed the earlier start more than others would! On the other hand we enjoyed the airiness provided by opening french doors and windows and the extra space of the balcony. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment to singles or couples.
Owner response:Hi Cris and Kevin, I'm very glad you found the apartment to your liking, your comments has been very accurate and hopefully useful for future guests. Thanks for the nice words and how you handled the apartment. You has been guests / friends very nice that I will remember for long time. Cordially Adriano I'm sorry for the noise of the tram. I'll think of some expedient to solve this little problem for the future...

Owner response:Dear friends, I'm glad you found the apartment and the city of Turin to your liking, thanks for the nice words and how you handled the apartment. Adriano

This beautiful apartment was perfect for the beginning of our travels in Italy. Just big enough for two, well furnished and provisioned, with the Carrefours grocery across the street and the beautiful cafe downstairs. It's within walking distance of the center of Turin. Adriano is a gem -- he picked us up and took us back to the airport and gave us lots of good information.
Owner response:Thanks for the kind words and congratulations for your particular preparation, especially on the history of Turin. You came to visit the city very informed. Adriano

I was absolutely delighted with the entire service that was offered here. The landlord was attentive and kind; basic breakfast items were provided (essential when arriving on a sunday in Italy); and I had everything I could need in close proximity, including an outstanding Gastronomia Artigianale (down the road at number 6 tel. 011 436 7581: at the green sign) where the finest, organic and locally sourced specialities could be tried, and other restaurants; a little Carrefour supermarket around the block, in the corner of the Piazza Savoia, and the many attractions of the city. A warm and friendly apartment in a safe, quiet and gated courtyard; ideal for a young couple wanting a weekend break or, like me, a single visitor to Turin (I was here for a week).

the owner, adriano, was fantastic and very responsive. picked us up at the station on arrival, kindly showed us everything, and dropped us off at the station on our departure as well. a very welcoming treat to a city that we were not familiar with yet. the apartment is a very convenient location, with public transport right outside. however, we walked everywhere since the location is quite central. the apartment is much nicer than can be captured in the photos. the building that it is in is fancy and beautiful as well. and the price is extremely reasonable. would come back to stay here next time we are in turin again.
Owner response:Thank you for your beautiful words Mok, you are very kind and ... I will follow your advice, I'll change the pictures of the features on the website! Ciao

I loved this charming, cozy place in Turin! Great location (5 minutes from Porta Nuova and historic downtown on the metro or bus, both basically right outside the door), nicely decorated (warm and inviting, house well stocked with anything you could need!), and Adriano is fantastic. He has a great garage and was very generous in letting me leave some stuff there while I was in other cities. Also, picked me up and dropped me off (with a tone of stuff) at the airport. Also, the use of his bike is a wonderful bonus, particularly if you come in fall or spring. Adriano also has a lot of great resources he makes available to his guests, and he just got his huge glass doors to the balcony (and winder) replaced which together with central heating keeps place really worm in the winter! So yes, would highly recommend for fall, winter or spring! Since I stayed quite a while, the only thing that would have made this fantastic place even better would have been a washing machine! But there is a dry cleaner near by and an excellent (though expensive) laundromat not so far way.
Owner response:Thanks Vanna, you were an excellent host and now you are also very kind in your comment. Best wishes for happy holidays!

It's like dying and going to heaven. I stayed at the apartment for two weeks in September 2010 and loved every minute. Everything was as Adriano promised. The listing description was accurate. The property was clean and up to date, and is located in a beautiful marble-accented building. Adriano provided good customer service and, because he's in Turin almost daily, he is available to solve all issues rapidly. The apartment is a 20-minute walk or nine-minute bike to Piazza Castello, mostly under the cover of porticoes. Such a civilized place. The apartment has a functional little balcony, full-size refrigerator, 4-burner electric range, bidet, and is tastefully decorated. A Carrefours grocery is across the street, and directly underneath you is the Modigliani cafe, from which the smell of coffee and warm pastries wakes you each morning.
Owner response:Dear Peter, thanks for the nice comment about your stay and thanks for your attention and care you put into the apartment. You were a very friendly tourist . Of course we are very pleased to know that you were happy with your first visit to Turin, and this compliment makes us work better and with passion to serve the new tourists coming. I wish you the best. Adriano
