This fabulous apartment in the heart of Paris is located on the 6th floor (7th American, with elevator) of a beautiful building, just a block from the Eiffel Tower and its gardens. It features a large balcony, A/C, four bedrooms, two baths and accommodates eight people in light-filled luxury. We named this fabulous apartment in Paris Tokay after one of the fine wines of the world. Once you step into this fabulous apartment in Paris, you can’t help but agree that staying is here is as fine as Tokay wine. The piece de resistance is the unbelievable view of the Eiffel Tower from the living room, the dining room, and the oversized balcony that fronts both the family room (and 4th bedroom) and the master bedroom! In addition, there are four mobile air conditioners for your added comfort on those warm days.

Having a large balcony in an apartment in Paris is special; sit out and savor the glorious views not only of the Eiffel Tower, La Grande Dame de Paris, Sacré Cœur and even the Arc de Triomphe. These amazing views can be seen directly from the living room, dining room, family room, and master bedroom as well. From the high vantage point this apartment in Paris offers, you can’t help but feel that you’re hovering above the city with nothing to obstruct your views. Your morning café au lait and croissants, toasting the Eiffel Tower with a glass of wine when it lights up at night, even reading a good book as you soak in the sun — every time you step out to enjoy the fresh air and views you’ll have a memory to savor for a lifetime.

Step through the front door to entry with polished oak hardwood floor and doorways leading off in all directions. First on the right is a small laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer; just beyond is a toilet located near all of the front rooms of the apartment. On the left is the living room, which leads into the dining room. Walk into the family room, which doubles as the fourth bedroom, and the large balcony fronts the room on the left. To the right at the end of the entry salon is a hallway that leads past the large eat-in kitchen on the right, the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms further down to the right, and the master bedroom to the left. Two bathrooms and a second water closet with toilet and sink fill the space between the master bedroom at the front of the apartment and the two back bedrooms, making for an outstanding and convenient layout with no wasted space.

The spacious living room is relaxed and inviting, with sun streamingthrough French doors at the front of the room that offer views over the rooftops and of the Eiffel Tower just a few blocks away.
Step from the living room into the dining room with modern table and chairs to seat 8 and a mix of modern and period art. You can enjoy the best view in Paris while dining with friends and family.

The family room has two comfortable couches and chairs awaiting your return from a long day of sightseeing. French doors lead out to the oversized balcony where a bistro table and chairs provide even more living space. At night the long sofa converts to two separate twin beds. Find a flat-screen TV and a DVD player in the family room and you can watch CNN, CNBC, etc. and stereo.

The brand new eat-in kitchen of our apartment in Paris is to the right as you go down the hallway to the back bedrooms. Preparing meals will be a joy with loads of counter space, tons of cupboards, and a full-size refrigerator/freezer, large oven, microwave, four-burner stovetop, coffeepot, and toaster.
Paris and la vie Parisienne revolves around food, and the advantage to staying in this wonderful quartier is that there are 3 open markets nearby along with the famous Rue Cler. You’ll be able to shop for the freshest ingredients and already prepared dishes daily and enjoy dining at home, without having to get dressed up and pay for all of your meals in restaurants.

Continuing down the hallway in the Tokay apartment in Paris, the two back bedrooms and two bathrooms are down to the right, and the master bedroom is just ahead to the left. The master bedroom haslarge French doors opening onto the balcony and views of the Eiffel Tower.

The second toilet is next with sink and two bathrooms are just outside the two back bedrooms. The first has a bathtub with flexible shower and sink and the second has a shower and sink.
The second bedroom of our apartment in Paris features a queen-sized bed and views out over the Paris rooftops through a large French door.
The third bedroom of our apartment in Paris has twin beds and rooftop views.

At sunset, stroll to the romantic river where you can catch the famous boat ride down the river. Walk to the Eiffel Tower and simply enjoy the architectural beauty from below or run up the stairs for exercise. The Trocadéro is directly across the river, another beautiful walk…or take a longer stroll to the Musée d’Orsay, the Invalides, or the Rodin Museum.

So get ready to step onto the balcony and savor the view; you can buy the Herald Tribune below and enjoy café au lait and croissants every morning — or toast your stay with champagne in the company of friends and family at sunset. The view and location are unbeatable.

Fireworks Over Paris, Terrace - View - Aircon...Wow!

Year Purchased: 2009

Why the Owner Chose Paris Arrondissement 7

We tried many Paris neighborhoods and the 7th arrondissement in Paris offered the best access to everything we love and enjoy! Step outside your apartment and enjoy café’ au lait on rue Cler on a sunny morning, stroll to Paris landmarks, museums and monuments, to world class shopping on the Right Bank, to the Orsay Museum, the Louvre, Rodin Museum, Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, Grand Palais, American Library. Take morning walks, picnics & bike rides in the Champs de Mars gardens, to romantic walks home along the river at sunset. It’s a beautiful old quartier near the romantic Seine that has maintained a village-like atmosphere, surrounded by bistros and shops so you can step outside and savor life. It's one of the safest arrondissements in Paris; it offers more open air markets than any arrondissement in Paris. It costs more to invest in the 7th, but to us, it is worth every penny. We greet our butcher, baker and local cheese specialist daily. They know what our favorite cheeses are and make favorite suggestions. They know the exact kind of baguette we want each day, not too brown and crusty for soft cheese. That is what we have been lucky enough to find in our neighborhood and we hope you’ll have a chance to enjoy the same special lifestyle.

Owner's Map of Paris Arrondissement 7

My company transferred me from San Francisco to London for work, and it wasn’t long before I met my husband Philippe on a ski vacation. We were married and bought our first apartment in Paris where Philippe was working as a cardiac surgeon. Friends and family loved staying there for the fantastic location and views – walking distance to cafés, landmarks sights and wonderful shops. They loved the experience of living like a Parisian, shopping in the nearby open air markets for the freshest foods, buying warm baguettes next door, enjoying café au lait on the balcony, eating at affordable brasseries and restaurants that Parisians go to just around the corner. They asked if they could rent our pied-à-terre when we were away, and our Paris apartment rentals business was born! Philippe left medicine for business and we now commute between London and Paris on the Eurostar and have two great children who have French and American citizenship ... and who always point out my French grammar mistakes!
