Hi We were 2 families of 2 adults and 2 children ages 13,14,15 and 15 we have just stayed for 2 weeks at southview villa Lake Berkeley the layout is perfect for sharing families as well as friends very clean and great layout for dining and socialising after a long day out. Pool was great along with the hot tub and also the views are great overlooking the lake.The games room is very handy for playing pool after a day out over a nice cold beer. The patio area is in sun all day which is perfect if you just want a chill by the pool. Only a few mins drive to the parks and restaurants close by. Would very highly recommend staying here to anyone. We have been to Florida many times and stayed in a hotel but this holiday was by far the best and that was also helped by the villa being perfect. The owner Madeline was very helpful and we always received very prompt answers to any questions we asked. All rooms very spacious and has the feel tat you are not all on top of each other Cutler and Barnett families April 2013

Dear Madeline We had such a wonderful time in your your beautiful home! Thank you! The children loved swimming in the pool….thank you for suggesting that we heat the water. By the time we got home from the parks, it would have been too chilly for them to swim were the water not heated. Everything in your home is so well equipped. It was a dream preparing meals in the kitchen. The grill worked very well. The beach towels were put to great use! The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The décor in the twin bedrooms was a big hit with our grandchildren. All of the rooms are beautifully furnished and decorated. Your driving directions are excellent. We found getting to the parks a very pleasant and short driving experience. The drives from and to the airport went very well. Blessings and love to you and your family, Bob and Sally

Hi Madeleine--- Just a quick note to tell you how much we enjoyed our few days at your rental. The pool and hot tub were probably the highlight--- coming from snow to 80 degrees the swimming and sunning was wonderful. Your home is so cozy and so tastefully decorated just as you advertised----- I have to give you a hug for that mattress pad as I got the main bedroom and was ever so grateful for the comfort there. I would certainly recommend this property to my friends. The girls got their fill of Universal and Harry Potter--- the Van we rented was excellent--- Walker Mobility delivered and picked up a little Go-G0 scooter for me (thank you for that information) so I had mobility when travelling--- the weather was great --- your home, phone line, pool table, hot tub & swimming pool were perfect so ----- Thank you for contributing to making our little holiday a success.

The house was lovely and the beds very comfortable. We had 9 of us staying there including 3 Grandchildren. We chose to have the pool heated as we weren't sure what the weather would be like and it can get cool in the evenings in January. The pool was a great hit with everyone and was used every day and the adults sat in the hot tub most evenings. Shopping, dining and Disney were all close at hand. It was great that there was a baby gate, highchair, stroller and crib (cot) for thte baby. The kitchen had everything that we needed. My 12 year old Grandson made use of the playroom and Grandpa was teaching him to play Pool. Madeleine was always very helpful whenever I asked a question. We may be back sometime :-)

Our family would like to thank you so very much for sharing your exquisite home with us. We had beautiful weather and thoroughly relaxed. The new decor was gorgeous! Our grandkids were very happy to see a bedroom decorated just for them!. The management company came by to check that everything was in working order (which it was). We made some fantastic memories to recall for a very long time. Thank you, again, for your hospitality.

Dear Madeleine and Denis, Your home was beautiful, just as advertised !!! The kids loved the pool, the game room, and all the tvs. We went to Disney World while there, and two of the children wanted to go back to the house and swim in the pool instead of riding rides. My grandsons did a little fishing, and the two toddlers enjoyed feeding the ducks. I played tennis with two of my grandchildren and we all played pool. Everything that was needed was provided. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the house. After staying there, you don't want to stay in a hotel. It rained during the week we were there, but we still had fun. Southview is a perfect location just 20 minutes from the Disney Parks and two minutes away from many stores and restaurants. The quietness of the neighborhood, mixed with the many activities to do in the area are ideal. My older son and I loved fishing in the pond and caught some nice fish, and we did see a small alligator. The gator will leave you alone if you leave it alone. I would strongly recommend reading the books on the theme parks as well as the area around Southview that are provided by the owner. The books are good at mapping out strategy for the theme parks, and help with the do's and don'ts with wildlife in the area. The community is gated with security on call 24 hrs, providing for a safe atmosphere. We would love to stay again when we are heading to Central Florida for vacation. Warning: When you see all there is to do around Southview, you might not want to be in the hustle and bustle of the Disney Parks. It's a perfect place to relax!!!

Thank you, Madeleine and Denis--your spacious, clean, well-appointed, inviting home was the perfect place for celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary with all our kids and grandkids. The heated pool was perfect for the our 5 little ones under 5 and hot tub was lovely for adults at the end of the day!. Location was excellent for shopping, parks and resort activities.We spent one whole day at Legoland which was so much fun for all ages! Beds were comfy, game room foosball and pool table were a big hit, kitchen had everything we needed and laundry room was great to have for keeping up with 5 kids!! Our grandchildren said it best when they were eating breakfast on the patio by the pool and decided they "wanted to live here forever"!! The adults agreed!! Thank you again for helping us to create such wonderful warm memories for our family. We hope to be back soon.

We really enjoyed our stay at Southview. It is a great place to stay with family members. Everything you would ever need was furnished.Plenty of nice dishes,bedding and towels Even a box of matches which a neighbor came and borrowed a few to light his grill.We hope to come back in the future as the stay was perfect for us and our daughters and their familys.Disney World was very easy to get to also enjoyed Fantasy of Flight which was about 20 miles away.

Hi Madeleine Just wanted to send a note telling you how much we enjoyed the house. We loved the house it’s in a great location close to all the major parks and my favourite the outlet malls. We also noticed that the house was very clean so the housecleaner is doing a great job. And the Management Company called twice to make sure everything was OK so that is good. The girls enjoyed the pool and I enjoyed running in the neighbourhood. Rick and I also found out that Shannon knows how to play foosball and Rick had fun showing Shannon how to play pool. We all had great sleeps and it was easy to make the house home. As they say in Disney.."Have a magical day" and all the best to you and your family.

We have rented several homes on our vacations and I can say no experience was as good as this one(and we had no issues with the others). At first I was a little concerned with renting from someone outside the U.S. but Madeleine quickly erased those concerns and personally made sure our experience was perfect. I could not endorse them any higher. The kids loved the pool, hot tub, tennis court, and the game room. The entire house was clean, well equipped and a very much needed relief after long days at Disney. It was close to everything yet far enough away to relax. We will happily stay here again. Southview is idyllic. A beautiful villa, very well equiped, with a south facing pool area looking out over a peaceful lake. Lake Berkley is a secure and well appointed community with good recreational facilities. Siuated very close to the Wal-Mart and close to the Poinciana Boulevard it makes for easy access to shopping and easy travel to the parks and beyond. As a group of eight, we had great fun and were sorry to leave! Madeleine and Denis, the owners, are great people to deal with and very supportive through booking, the stay, and afterwards. Snap up a booking in this villa if you can!

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at this wonderful villa. The location is perfect, just off the 192, so close to all the attractions and restaurants, with the added bonus of a super walmart just down the road. The villa was extremely comfortable, clean, spacious and well equipped, with lovely views over the lake. The owners couldn't have been more friendly or helpful from the very first contact. All in all highly recommended

We stayed for three nights and had a fabulous time. It was an excellent respite from the heat and crowds at Disney. My four year old son says the pool and game room were his favorite parts of the whole vacation! Madeleine has been extremely friendly and prompt about everything.

We had a great time staying in Southview on our recent golf holiday in Orlando. We found the house great, with great space and every comfort. The kids (43-71 year olds)loved the games room. If you lost the golf you might win the pool. Each of the 5 of us had our own bedroom, with TV, all for the price of 1 room in a hotel. Why book anywhere else if South View is available. I am going back in Oct to do the theme parks with my family, and immediately tried to book South View, it would be ideal for a family holiday, as is near all the Disney parks, restuarents etc. 5 Happy Paddy's looking forward to our next trip.

When it is your first time booking an online reservation of a home in another country and taking responsibility for the comfort and enjoyment of 10 people you are vacationing with.....it can be scary to trust and take the plunge. Booking with the Locks was a truly pleasant experience all around. Every single thing about the place was EXACTLY as described but when you see it for real it appears even more beautiful. It was the holiday of our dreams. The surrounding community had every convenience and many attractions enjoyable for all different age groups and interests. The girls went shopping, the boys went golfing the kids went mini golfing and go-karting besides being a very short distance from all of the major attractions and then there was the heated pool and hot tub to enjoy! Madeleine and Denis have thought of everything. They have a binder full of advise, hints, tips and maps of the Disney parks and surrounding area. The home was also beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. Thank God there are people like them out there making dreams come true for others at a very reasonable rate. Madie & Denis My Family & I stayed at Madie & Denis house at Southview in July. This was the best vacation we have been on. The house is absolutely beautiful, it has everything you need to washer, drier, full kitchen with all the things you need for cooking ect. ect. to make your stay enjoyable. You have a nice view of the lake right in your back yard, where you can go fishing if you like. Walmart is just down the road. Everything is just minutes away. Madie & Denis are very nice people they help us in alot of things we needed. For them to be in the U.K their house is so well kept eveything you see in the pictures is what you get a beautiful house but much bigger in person. I recommend this house to anybody. Oh also the beds are like sleeping on clouds!!!!! Thank Madie & Denis we will be back soon everything was great!!! much love

We so enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home. The heated pool was most enjoyable and we had a great time. I can't see why anyone would pay hotel prices when your place is available. It had everything my family needed and we would certainly stay there again. It was so nice to have a place to come back to with the kids that we could treat like home.

We have had a wonderful time in the villa it was very homely and well situated. The young at heart enjoyed Disney and the thrill seekers enjoyed universal they felt it more suited to what they wanted. Make sure you make time to take an airboat ride and see the wildlife we went to boggy creek and it was excellent. If you go to the Kennedy centre make sure you leave here early we encountered long queues when we got there between the tour stops and couldn’t finish it in a day. We also took a day up at the beach near Sarasota which was beautiful. We had Christmas lunch up at Gaylord palms which we would thoroughly recommend. We used the Florida transportation taxi company. If you want quick good value food try ponderosa down the 192. We also like Olive Garden (just past publix) food was good and service too, though there was a long wait to get a table.Thank you maddie and denis for letting us use your lovely villa and for making our stay as pleasant as possible. We have just had our second holiday in your superb house. This time we took our two daughters and their families and we all had enough space still to do our own thing! The games room was much appreciated, especially by the boys, and the pool provided hours of daytime fun and a wonderful setting for the occasional evening meal. The open, quiet and southerly aspect, with the continous sunshine and uninterrupted view of the lake gives this whole site a delightful feeling. The furnishings and equipment could not be faulted, especially the size of the fridge and washer/dryer. The house is very concenient for all the Disney attractions etc, and the nearby Walmart is a bonus for supplies. We hope to make a further visit soon.

My family and i stayed at Southview in Feb. 2005,this property is the best we have stayed at in over 23 years of frequently visiting Florida. The location is just about perfect whether you are visiting disney or any of the major theme parks with the added bonus of a supersized Wal Mart just a short stroll away. You will not be disappointed with the house either as it is large,airy with all the conveniances you will need. We loved the new games room with its tv, playstation,air hockey and true running pool table. Outside is the pool overlooking a nice sized lake,great sunny aspect.The pool/spa is clean and well maintained and provided you use the cover supplied the water is always a perfect temperature if you require the heater during the winter months.I can not finish without mentioning the owners Madeleine and Dennis,excellent to work with and genuinely concerned that every detail is to your satisfaction. Dear Madeline, We have just returned from our second stay at Southview, our first visit being in 2001. The property was every bit as wonderful as we remembered! It's the perfect base from which to visit the theme parks, and my husband found some great golf courses nearby too. The huge Walmart around the corner makes it easy to pick up bits and pieces for breakfast, and the full range of cooking facilities gave us the option of eating in some nights. The provision of a washing machine & tumble drier is a great bonus too. Your new games room is huge, & went down very well in the evenings! We loved your pool; it's south facing aspect gives it a distinct advantage over others on the estate, and our 5 year old niece enjoyed the pool toys you have thoughtfully provided! All in all, we would not hesitate to recommend your beautiful house to any family looking for a base in the Kissimme area; its furnished to a very high standard, immaculately clean, and the beds are really comfy too! Our annual trip to Florida to play golf was made even better this year by staying in "Southview". With seven men playing 36 holes of golf every day and then staying in the same house together you never know how everyone is going to get along for 7 days. If not for all the comforts of home and more, it could have been disaterous. I'm happy to report it was a great trip, do in large part to all the amenities this property provided. This home has every thing needed for a great vacation, nice pool, jacuzzi, rec room, up to date furnishings and plenty of room. Resaurants and shopping close by, and peaceful evenings. We liked it so well that I have already requested to stay here next year. Owners are very pleasent to work with and called on us while there to make sure everything was OK. Thank You Madeleine for making our golf trip a success. Tony Logsdon

WE stayed at the house from 12 - 16 July 2003 and had a fantastic time. This really is a dream house and as soon as we walked in we knew we would be really happy there. The preparations of the house for guests would not be amis in a 5* Hotel, meticulously clean and tidy with towels made into attractive artwork on the beds and a nice welcome note from the owners and local agent. The huge lounge has a two-storey high ceiling and is equiped with the latest TV, DVD and stereo equipment. The fully fitted kitchen has a giant fridge with ice maker(very well used!), cooker, microwave and waste disposal and has all the cutlery you could want, including plastic ones for use by the pool. The pool and spa with underwater lighting is great for a cool-down during the day and even better at night. We had real trouble getting our children to leave the house to visit the theme parks. The location is very convenient - away from the main crowds, quiet but only half a mile from the I92 and the I4 not far off. Very easy to get to Disney and Universal or on the I4 to Tampa or Daytona. Loads of shops and restaurants within a mile on the I92 and the giant Wal-Mart at the end of the road sells everything you could want. It was a privilege to have stayed at Southview. Thanks to the owners and the agent it was a holiday we will not forget. We can be contacted for reference at LaurenITC.

11/09/02- My family has just returned from a wonderful vacation at Southview. We stayed from 11/1-7/02. The home is simply beautiful. It is very apparent that the owners take great care and pride in assuring that guests will truly enjoy their stay. The home has all the amenities anyone could ask for. The layout is perfect for a family or a group of friends. The master suite with private bath is one of the best I've seen. It is located on the first floor as well as is a second bedroom and bath. As a timeshare owner of four weeks, we travel quite a bit in the US and Mexico. I would rate this house a ten, on a scale of 0-10. There were ample supplies of everthing one would need on vacation. The decor is graciously articulated in every aspect of the home. A new stero DVD unit has also been added in the living room, which certainly has the sound effects of being in a movie theater. We played our DVD's and loved the sound system. The kitchen has everything you need. We really liked having the option of using the glass or unbreakable dinnerware and glasses. This is essential when you have childen with you. We used the pool/jacuzzi heating and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Being able to swim until late at night was a highlight of our vacation. There is also fencing on both sides of the home for additional privacy. This was one of the main reasons why we chose this home. The location was one of the best. We were not far from anything. The gated community allowed for additional security to walk, jog, and play in the children's play area. Lake Berkley is simply an excellent vacation spot, and Southview tops the list. We didn't want to leave. Hajjah

Having stayed at Southview for two weeks,i thought the house was totally amazing and didnt really want to leave!!the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, the pool refreshing, the house kitted out with all the equipment you could want during your stay. Its a Dream house and i would throughly recommend it to anyone, its location means you have your privacy but also direct access to all attractions nearby as well as dozens of restaurants and amenities.
