Enjoy the stunning ocean and mountain views from all of the homes’ main rooms. Your master suite comes with its own private balcony, where you can relax and enjoy the wonderful views of the bay, as well as the gorgeous landscaped garden. All beds have top of the line mattresses, cozy duvets and designer linens ensuring a wonderful nights rest.
Up and across the street, is a fabulous secluded park and beach where you can view the sea life in the tide pools at low tide, do some beachcombing, and in summertime you can go swimming in the calm waters of the bay. Sea lions can often be seen here in the winter and spring months, as well you may see bald eagles, herons, and other wildlife. Beach towels and a small picnic cooler are supplied for your lunches at the beach.
For the serious golfer, Vancouver Island’s premiere golf resort destination, Fairwinds Golf and Country Club, is only minutes away. Or if you are the mini golfing type visit the fabulous family Paradise Adventure miniature golf in Parksville. Indulge in the luxurious Grotto Spa and mineral pool at the Tigh Na Mara resort, or the Aqua Terre Spa at the Pacific Shores Resort, both just minutes away. There are numerous nature trails and walks, waterfalls, caves, lakes, rainforests and beaches to discover and explore in this part of Vancouver Island.

Why the Owner Chose Nanoose Bay
We love Vancouver Island and the ocean, but chose this location because it is off the beaten track, quiet and serene, yet central to so many fantastic places to see. Waterfalls, rain forests, several beaches and trails, rivers,lakes, farmers markets, shopping and golf are all within a 30 minute drive from our place. We also enjoy taking day trips to Victoria and Sydney by the Sea, and can easily get there within a couple of hours. Our local beach is a great place to relax and is only a short walk away. It is surrounded by nature, with great swimming in the summer months. There is so much to do and see in the area, that we look forward to our time spent here.

Our full time home is in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies, but we love to spend time here on Vancouver Island. We are the parents of 3 grown children and 1 child who is still at home. As well, we are the lucky grandparents of 2 beautiful grandchildren. We enjoy hiking, and the outdoors and love to travel when we can.
