Our condo is located on the top floor within the new Village at Squaw Valley. It is conveniently located within in walking distance to the gondola, as well as the restaurants and shopping. The beautifully decorated one bedroom, one bath condo is an ideal fit for couples or families with one or two children. The bedroom has a luxurious king size bed, while the sofa pulls out into a queen sized bed. The private balcony provides a stunning view of Squaw mountain and surrounding areas. The private underground parking allows for easy no hassle parking.
The condo includes a gourmet kitchen complete with all the linens, utensils and amenities you might need. Also enjoy, a toasty gas fireplace while watching the two flat screen t.v.s that are available for your use. The condo shares a media room, kids playroom, billiards room on the base floor - as well as eight hot tubs and four fitness rooms that are all available for your use.
Squaw Valley resort is Northern California's premier resort. Located in North Lake Tahoe, it is about 200 miles from San Francisco and about 30 miles from the Reno airport.
Squaw is a wonderful vacation spot throughout the year...Ski Squaw and enjoy quick and easy access throughout winter to Tahoe's most extensive terrain. But, don't forget about Summer and Spring at Squaw! The Village at Squaw is located just miles away from Lake Tahoe where you can experience the incredible boating, sailing, skiing and more all summer long! As well as extensive biking and cross country trail in and around the Squaw area.

The location was great and the owner of the unit was really nice and easy to work with. Too bad the hotel/management that take care of the unit aren't doing a good job. Check in was a disaster - staff were poorly trained, they couldn't find my reservation and it took 20 minutes for them to figure it out. Housekeeping hadn't properly prepared the unit for our arrival - all the lamps and alarm clock were unplugged. Heating wasn't turned off so it was freezing. I also had to reprogram the microwave so I could use it and there were no cereal bowls. Great location next to the ski lifts with underground parking and inside ski locker. Full kitchen with 2 Flat Screen TV's. King Bed was terrific as I slept like a baby. Kitchen was fully equipped. As a family of four, it worked out well for us. Owner was extremely friendly and made the renting process very easy. We would certainly book it again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The unit itself was fine. However, upon arrival, we were taken to the unit and discovered that it had not been cleaned. It was dirty and stinky with garbage on the kitchen floor. It took four hours of waiting before it was finally cleaned. The management indicated that since we had not booked through them we were their last priority. We also found out that the very same units were being rented for less per night including housekeeping. We had to pay extra for housekeeping services and had paid a higher rate to the owner. What a rip off. Next time we will book through the resort.Recommended for: Tourists without a car.
