Why the Owner Chose Hot Springs Village
Today we are happily living the good life in Hot Springs Village. We decided on the Village after much on-line and in-person research. We wanted a beautiful spot, with low cost of living and lots of amenities that would be close to our children in Mississippi and Texas. We purchased Troza Lane in 2007 and lived here while we built our new home in the Village. Later, we decided to keep the townhome and make it available to friends and family who visit and occasional paying guests. We had so many requests for bookings that we decided in late 2009 to add our two guest apartments on Mano Way, to give us three vacation rentals and more exchange options. So, now we have something for everyone and since we love hosting people who come to the Village to explore, play and enjoy themselves, we are truly in our element…..it’s almost like the B&B, but without the Breakfast!
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
We furnish our units with comfortable furniture and quality bedding. They are all nicely decorated with things we love….a few “family” antiques, original art and momentos we have picked up on our many travels. We are dog friendly, knowing that since our two wonderful dogs are part of our family, your canine companions must be too! Come spend some time in the Village... play some golf, fish, hike, play tennis, swim, read and relax.... We look forward to making one of our vacation guest spaces your “home away from home”!
Take the cart path off DeSoto Blvd, just West of the entrance to Castellon Cove.... find yourself walking thru the woods, past the marina and along the lake...beautiful!
Walk to the Marina...take the cart path off of DeSoto Blvd., just West of the entrance to Castellon Cove. A short walk thru the woods will bring you out at the marina.
Want to cool off? The pools are a great place to relax during your vacation in the Village. Play miniature golf, put the kiddies on the playground or play a little tennis....it's all here!
Stroll down to the water's edge and feel yourself relax..... sit on the bench and enjoy the beauty of this tranquil place.

What a beautiful home and location. We had the most wonderful time and were SO comfortable in this property. It is well maintained and clean, well decorated and furnished for everyones comfort. The description of this property was exactly right with the owner being helpful and prompt with all enquiries. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone interested in heading down to Hot Springs Village. Although there are few restaurants in the area, we were still able to find options that were great. The lakes and golf courses are fantastic as is the beautiful tree lined main road running through the village. From this road is it hard to believe there are house hidden back beyond, which gives the area a very relaxing, out with nature kind of feeling. Thanks for providing such a superb place to stay and hope to rent from you again in the future.

My husband, daughter and I stayed at this location October 14-16 and had a fantastic time. The townhouse was exactly as described, tastefully furnished, and boasted a well stocked kitchen. All we needed to bring was our own food. Jill also answered any questions we had very quickly and was a charming hostess. I think she's thought of just about everything for comfort and entertainment while staying in the Troza Lane Townhouse. She also allowed us to bring our two dogs with us and they had the time of their lives! We were also a mere 30 second walk to Lake Desoto. Nestled inside of a mostly retirement village, it was very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. We spent Friday afternoon picnicking at Brady Mountain and spent Saturday afternoon at Hickory Nut Vista. Hickory Nut Vista is a must see for anyone who loves the mountain views! We also hiked one of the many nature trails located in the village and were surprised at the natural beauty! If you are looking for a modern, tastefully decorated vacation home with a great location - and a super price, then this one is for you! I've already told all of my family and friends about this little gem of a rental and plan to return as often as I can.

Nice, but not quite a "5"

To start, reviews often give properties a 5 when that should be reserved for the BEST. With that said, this was a nice unit in a good location. Neighbors were friendly. Beautiful area. Owners were accomodating. Bed was VERY COMFY! Kitchen needs attention. We had a nice visit and would stay here again.
Owner response:We so appreciate suggestions and try to follow-up as quickly as we can. It's sometimes hard to find the time to get in and really concentrate on deep cleaning when we have such a high rate of occupancy. This former guest was right, the kitchen did need attention! I have just spent two days re-arranging, cleaning and clearing out, not only the kitchen and pantry areas, but the linen closets and dressers. We have really "polished" things up and I have to say, things are looking much better!

This place is an absolute gem! If you are reading this you have seen the pictures of 10 Troza Lane. The pictures speak the truth of this place and the amenities described on this site. I stayed here from 14-24 Oct, just in-time for the full on-set of Autumn. Here are some of my thoughts and feelings expressed (humbly) in Haiku: A visitor, me, found a cozy away home at 10 Troza Lane.... Among umber Autumn leaves, busy sqirrels havest acorns A lovely view from Jill and Jim's place....

Hi, all,,, I've left my email address, phone number, name, and the city and state available for all to see, in case you'd like to call me about this property. My last name is the same as the owners, but we are not kin to each other that I know of, and I'd never heard of them before finding this property listed on VRBO. That's my disclaimer. :-) You can call me, but take my word here,,, this place is a VERY nice place to rent. I've stayed in several VRBO places from FL to Hawaii, and this has been the best. The one in Hawaii had a TERRIBLE ant problem, and no mention of it by the owners. This unit has no problems. It is FULLY furnished, and LOTS of pots and pans (other VRBO's we've stayed in were pretty scant)and other kitchen wares. You don't need to bring cooking oil... it's there. Spices, etc. are provided. Just plan to get your food at the grocery, and you'll have most everything else you will need provided. Non stick pans, as well as stainless, if you prefer that. We slept on the kingsize bed, and it was the most comfortable bed we've ever been on away from home. Laundry had soap and bleach provided. IF we had run out of anything, we would have bought it, and left the rest there for the next folks, but for the 8 days we stayed, there was LOTS more left for the next folks. You can call me, or email me, but take my word for it, you won't go wrong renting this place! I hope these comments will help you all some. Gary

When we first walked in your townhome, we felt at home. The kitchen was well stocked which made cooking on the grill very easy. Having lived in Hot Springs for 20 years, we knew this was the best time to come. The scenic setting made for the most relaxing vacation we have ever had. Thank you Jill! See you next April.

We stayed in this lovely townhouse in June 2008 and enjoyed every minute of it. The house was so comfortable and made us feel right at home. We sat out on the deck and enjoyed the privacy and trees. Jill was very helpful.

Cozy & comfortable describes this spacious townhome. All though the bad weather from Hurricane Gustav followed us from LA, we felt relaxed & at home. The view from the master bedroom gives you a feeling of being in a tree house and a most comfortable king size bed!! The people were very friendly, stores close by and the area was very neat & clean. Thank you for being pet friendly. It makes travel easier for us animal lovers. We will certainly be back for a visit. Thank you Jill and Jim for the use of your lovely retreat.
