Welcome to Moloa’a Valley, located on the North Shore of Kauai, minutes from the famous Hanalei Bay. Enjoy the serenity of our Nirvana Guest House- a private retreat that offers panoramic mountain views, a state of the art kitchen, beautiful walking gardens, and all the amenities that make for a memorable vacation experience.

Peaceful Valley Hideaway
Your vacation retreat is located within the lush and tropical Moloa’a Valley. Enjoy your covered outdoor lanai looking over the lychee orchard and towering bamboo grove. Also in view is the meditation garden with circular pathway and pavilion. Numerous terraces provide walking routes and locations for fragrant shrubs and trees. A fifteen minute walk down a pleasant lane will take you to the sandy beaches of picturesque Moloa’a Bay. Swim or snorkel in the safety of protected areas behind the reef on either end of the circular beach. Walk out to the headlands and see spouting whales and green sea turtles below!

Nirvana Guest House
Constructed and fitted with the finest materials, our vacation retreat has been built to the highest standards. Our 1 bedroom / 1.5 bathroom features a large “cook’s kitchen” with a gas Kenmore Elite stove and refrigerator, granite counter tops, and is equipped with all your cooking needs The bedroom loft has a king size bed and it’s own bathroom. The living room couch folds out into a double bed.

North Shore Beaches and Activities
The North Shore of Kauai is a land of pure beauty, perfect year-around weather, and great summer activities. From snorkeling to surfing, hiking to kayaking, sun bathing to shopping, the North Shore has something for everyone. Located just 15 minutes away is Hanalei Bay with over two miles of white sandy beaches and crystal blue water. The historic Hanalei Pier is the site of many famous films such as South Pacific, Miss Sadie Thompson, King Kong and Wackiest Ship in the Army. Passing Hanalei Bay, you can see Lumahai, another renowned beach where South Pacific was filmed. The North Shore is also home to waterfalls, rivers, valley views, and lava tubes (tunnels made from ancient lava flows).

Princeville Community and Ranch
Princeville is home to some of Hawaii's finest resorts, golf courses and restaurants. It is also the site of three beaches, Pu'u Poa (thumping point), Kenomene Beach, and Kaweonui Beach. Princeville Ranch is a working cattle ranch and is home to the North Shore's most exciting outdoor eco-adventure tours such as zip lining, kayaking, hiking, and horseback riding.

  • My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We needed a place to regenerate from our busy lives, and this home really gave us that and more. Our home-away-from-home was modern and clean with a full kitchen. The land is one big garden with plenty of room to roam. It's a short walk to a beautiful, secluded beach with hiking trails nearby. It's a good mid-point between the beautiful north shore and the busier cities near Lihue where there's lots of activities - restaurants, shopping, sightseeing. And of course our host Andy made sure we were comfortable. We loved it and will definitely be back as soon as we can!
