Had a lot of extra that we weren't planning on. There was a coffeepot with filters, microwave, full oven and four burner electric stove. We had brought toilet paper (although that was provided). There were also garbage bags provided. There was dishwashing liquid and kitchen towels and bath towels. One bedroom is completely separate from the main house providing additional privacy (building on left of main picture) and it had a half bath attached. The additional fish cleaning house had an extra full refrigerator. Enjoyed our time here and it was very amenable for cooking and sleeping our varied group. The loft was the warmest place which was great since we were there in the winter.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My family stayed here in July 2010 & loved it! The pictures are very accurate and there were pleanty of towels, dishes and utensils. I loved having a washer and dryer and actually came home with no dirty clothes! My 11 yearl old son & 14 year old nephew loved the loft & my husband loved the outdoor kitchen. There is no trash pick up & you have to bring your trash with you, so it is best to use the dishes they provide to help. Wish they would have had a boat launch because we had to go to cypress bend to launch. We loved the privacy and the trees were beautiful. The biggest magnolia and pine trees that i have ever seen were on this property. We brought our dog and she had a blast too. This was a great vacation and I would recomend it. Mr. Gene was very friendly also.

My extended family and I stayed here the weekend of June 3, 4, and 5 and loved it. It was nice and quiet and a cozy place. The decor was cute and they had alot of the conviences of home. They view was beautiful and there weren't any nosy neighbors. We had 3 children under 2 years old and a 5 year old and it was a great location for us. On the water, but not so close that we worried about the children. Lovely place, would def. recommend.
