King for a week!

We stayed here November 19-26 2011 after doing lots of research and speaking directly with the owner we decided it was a good place to spend Thanksgiving. We knew we needed a safe island, a quiet “away from it all” location and a comfortable, clean, well taken care of rental property. Our family of six (including four kids: 11, 9, 5, 3) explored every square inch of the island and spent plenty of time over in the other areas, but we were really please with the location. If you’re looking for tons of action, activities, shops/stores, and restaurants within walking distance, this might not be the best choice for you, but it was perfect for us. The villa is well-cared for. We used the pool a lot and the rest of the time we just hung out in the back yard oh I mean the beach! Occasionally you would see someone walking down the beach but it felt like were the only ones on the beach. The proximity to the nearby restaurants was only a 10 minute car ride.. My kids liked to explore around the property trying to find buried treasure! As for the house itself it suited us perfectly. I don’t need to feel like I’m staying at the Queen’s vacation house, but at the same time, “rustic” doesn’t appeal to me either. This villa was nicely decorated, spacious, very clean and updated with all modern applicances. The furniture was very comfortable. The villa included every amenity you could need including a full assortment of kitchen utensils, big beach towels, some snorkel equipment and beach toys. The owner's personal touches made us feel like he really cared about our experience, and he went above and beyond to ensure that this was the best trip of our lives. We will definitely be returning to Provo and staying in Long Bay and definitely returning to this particular rental.

fun time in Provo

My family stay at this villa during the easter holiday and just returned. We had an excellent time and Bob the owner was absolutely the best! The villa is not the biggest on the block but the personalized service we received was more than we ever expected. The breakfast was great and because of the cost of the groceries on the island we asked to have the breakfast around 11 am which keep us full until dinner. My husband is already missing the omlettes! The island was very busy and reservations were required at most places. The location was good because we were only a 15 min drive to any restaurant we wanted to go to. The beach was clean and was great exercise to walk everyday. The neighborhood is all residential and extremely quiet. The stars are brilliant to look at at night. As others have commented, the house is extremely well maintained and I believe it because the property is owner managed. We hope to come back to Provo and would stay at this property again. This was our 2nd trip to Provo and decided to visit again for our 20 yr anniversary. The 1st time we stayed at a condo and wanted to try something different. We had heard about this property from a family we met at the airport who at just stayed there during our 1st visit to Provo and they are very happy with their stay. Since this was our 1st time staying in a villa we didn't really know what to expect but after doing it , we couldn't have been more pleased. The property is well maintained and very quite. We were close to everything but far enough away for it to be peaceful and thats exactly what we were looking for.It was great to wake up in the morning and have someone make your breakfast and clean up after. Thats what vacation is all about.

A wonderful place for a reunion

My family rented the entire house for 2 weeks in August 2010 for a family reunion. We were a family of 6 adults and 4 children. To sum it up we had a wonderful time. The villa is maintained very well and sits about 20 ft above the ocean and has amazing views not only of the ocean but also the surrounding area. In the morning we watched the sun rise over the pool and at night we watched the sun set from the front porch. The kids loved walking the beach collecting the shells and the adults loved sitting on the beach or floating in the pool with our drinks. Its a very quite area and we did see some other families walking past but it felt like it was our own private beach. There is a on site manager(Bob) who I can't say enough about.He stays at the guard house at the end of the driveway and that made us feel very safe. To often when you stay at a place the staff makes you feel like you are doing them a favor by staying there but here we felt like we were royalty! We did many activities such as the ponies, snorkeling, para sailing and just relaxing. would we come back to Turks & Caicos absolutlely would we come back to this villa In a heart beat YES! My family stayed at this villa 6/9 to 6/17/09 and I wanted to write to say that it was a great experience! We were greeted at the airport by the villa manager patrick who made sure things went smoothe with the rental car and we followed him back to the villa. Our first impression was that the property was well maintained and the view of the ocean from the pool deck was spectacular! I was happy to see what was advertised was what we received. We have stayed at other villas in different parts of the world and sometimes things aren't what they say they are but this was not the case here and it was more than either myself or wife expected. The villa is located right on the beach and in the morning and at sunset we would walk the beach without a worry in the world. There are lots of things to do on the island. we went horse back riding on the beach, snorkeling and also sailing a hobie cat. Patrick was available throughout our stay and we enjoyed talking to him about his life on the island.Our children are young so we were happy to see that there were games,dvds,beach toys etc to help keep them occupied. I would hesitate returning to this villa in the future and would reccommend it to anyone thinking of visiting this island. I really liked the fact that the phone calls to the US & Canada were at no charge.
