This property is located in The Rookery. A quiet beach cottage community located just 14 miles west of Gulf Shores on Hwy. 180. Nestled beside the Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge, the community offers two swimming pools, hot tub, Tiki bar, grill, picnic tables, and nature trails. The larger pool, across the bridge (150 yards), is heated and has zero-entry access great for kids and the elderly.
Located just across the street from the natural white sandy beaches of the Gulf. Our unit is located in the front of the complex so it’s only 3 blocks to the beach. Turn right leaving The Rookery, go 1/2 block and turn left on Cortez, and the beach is straight ahead. Nice seashells and sand dollars still wash up on this less developed beach!
Our place features a screened front porch, light beach décor, hardwood floors, and a very comfortable leather couch. There are three queen size beds. Clean linens and towels are provided, and there is a washer and dryer for extended stays.
Each bathroom has a shower and tub. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishware and cooking utensils. It has a stove, refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, and coffee maker.
I know two owners with adjacent cottages. For those multi-family vacations, let us arrange a package deal so you can spend your vacation together.
There is never a dull moment with plenty of local activities to keep the whole family happy.
