Stayed in 205B, gulf Shores Surf and Racquet Club. We had a wonderful time and the view from our balcony was of the pool and lagoon. We loved it. The condo had everything we could possibly wish for. It was clean, nicely decorated and had all the necessities to make our stay so enjoyable.

Beautiful unit, newly furnished

This is our second time in this unit, we were very pleased both times. This year the owner had refurnished both bedrooms, added large screen TV's in living area and Master bedroom. It has a convenient and well stocked kitchen, including smooth top stove.. Everything was very clean. View from balcony to the courtyard toward pool and hot area is outstanding, with the good use of Palm trees, Greenery and flowering plantings. Private beach just across the road. A very pleasant experience,and we highly recommend this Condo.

My husband and I rented this condo for two months in the winter of 2012 and we were very pleased. The condo was very clean and very comfortable. Anne as very nice and cooperative. The kitchen was equiped very well. The beds wery very comfortable. The attractions and restaurants are awesome!!! I would reccomend this condo to anyone.

Anniversary Get Away

My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary here. We enjoyed our stay and the surrounding area. We visited Fort Morgan and also took the short drive to Pensecola to see the the Naval Aviation Museum. We had so much fun that we booked our next vacation the same day that we checked out. I would highly recommend renting from Anne.

Our stay at the Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet Club was very enjoyable. The rental was precisely what was advertised and we had no problems with anything in the condo. We even had great weather, it only rained when we were packing the car to leave. The owner was responsive to our concerns and even stopped by to replace a stained bedspread. Thank you, Anne!

The room was of average decor, I did'nt care for the bare tile floors, there needed to be rugs around some places, if not for looks for comfort and beauty.The beds were also hard and uncomfortable, the head board was detached from the bed and it seamed really flimsy.The location was great, you were not too far from the beach or the pool. Great resturants within reasonable drive.

Owner response:I don't use rugs on the floor, because I am concerned about the sand that comes in on the tile floor and it might make the rugs slip. This is the first comment I have had about the beds being hard. I think it is all about what you are used to at home. I am in the process of buying new furniture for my condo. Anne

This community was very nice! The staff at the condo was very friendly and helpful! The condo was everything the owner said it was and more!!! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone I know wanting to go away on a quiet, romantic or family getaway! The beaches were beautiful and very peaceful! The condo itself was quiet..you couldn't hear your neighbors and all the other guests were respectful

We really enjoyed our stay in your condo. It was big enough for our family of five comfortably and was clean and decorated nicely. We enjoyed the pool and it was great to be able to watch the girls swim from our balcony. The pool area is beautiful. The beach access was also great and always easy to get across the street as there was not much traffic. My favorite thing was sitting on the pier and watching the sunset and taking a few photos. This was a great, relaxing vacation for my family and will come again.

Nice little condo with great view of the pool. Nice pool area and bay side. Kids loves catching the hermit crabs on the bay. Quick, easy walk to the beach.

This condo was perfect for me and my family. My wife and I have two boys, 1 1/2 and 3 years old, and they loved the pool and easy access to the beach. Also the condo owner was very accommodating. We have nothing but great things to say about this property and owner, and will plan on renting again! Trust us, you won't want to pass up this condo!

My friend and I contacted Anne for a last minute girls only getaway! She worked with us and was wonderful! The accomodations were perfect as we both had just the right amount of privacy. We loved the location on the lake as well as being across the street from the beach with just a very short walk. The private beach was GREAT! It also has a beautiful pool area and wasn't far from all the restaurants and other attractions. We would definately go back and recommend to others.

What an wonderful holiday! I took my daughters down for a few days to have a little get-away. We usually stay in the Orange Beach area, so this was a new experience. We were not disappointed! The location was perfect. The view overlooking the bay, the pools and the pier made us feel like we were staying at a resort. The gulf wasn't a very long walk - just across the street. The balcony was large and enjoyable to sit and watch the sunset. The price was right and we were very satisfied with our new discovery. We look forward to returning.

My wife and I spent two months in this condo and enjoyed it very much. Unit was very clean, well furnished and comfortable. We are tennis players and enjoyed having courts right off our deck. The landscaping around the pool area was beautiful and has a tropical feel. There were activities available in the community room often and many winter guest have been coming down for years. We felt it was a very good travel value, and our owner was very accommodating. It would recommend it to anyone.

"Each day appreciated more and more our lovely condo" View from the balcony would rival any tropical resort anywhere in the world...palm trees, pool, tennis courts, grass, lagoon and fishing piers. Local restaurants were reasonable and above our expectations.

Nice place. Beautiful view from the large deck. Lovely pool area. Easy access to beach. Great place for a boat! The owner is so nice and worked w/us on short notice. We look forward to staying here again. We would recommend this property to friends with the following in mind: Double beds-- not queen as stated. Close quarters for 4-- can't imagine 6 adults in this condo! Needs some updating-- flat screen tv would be awesome! We had to dust the fans and ceiling as well as mop the floors when we got there. After just a short time our bare feet had turned black from walking on the floor. Those are issues with the cleaning crew and are easily fixed.

We rented this condo for the Jimmy Buffett concert. It was clean, updated and tastefully decorated. The pool was nicely kept and we really enjoyed our stay. The beaches were clean while we were there although you were not allowed to get in the water. Overall, we would highly recommend this condo, especially since the owner could not have been more sweet and accommodating!

"Relaxing" We very much enjoyed our vacation at the Gulf Surf and Raquet Club. The condo was very clean, decorated beautifully and was in an amazing location. Ann Arnold was very easy to work with so all the planning was painless. We enjoyed watching everyone play at the pool from our balcony in the evenings. Was a very quiet place. The condo was perfect size for 2 couples. We chose to do a lot of our own cooking and there were plenty of dishes and pans. There grocery store was very close. The beach was directly across the street. It was a wonderful place to be. I will go to Gulf Shores over Florida from now on.

Our family of 5 stayed in Anne's Gulf Shores condo for 1 week in April 2010. The condo was small, but comfortable for the 5 of us. Anne has it so well stocked; we never found anything we needed that she didn't have. The grounds of the property are well kept. We loved the beautiful pool area and hot tub. This property is literally right across from the beach - an easy walk even with carrying all our beach stuff. My boys (14 & 11) loved skim boarding and my daughter (7) loved the pool. This condo and the Gulf Shores area are both very family oriented, with many things to do. It never feels like a tourist trap however. It's just too charming to feel that way. We found the people in Gulf Shores to be polite and gracious. We would LOVE to plan another trip to Anne's condo if our schedules allow the time to get away again!

My family and I stayed in the condo for a long weekend! We had a blast. The location is within 2 miles on anything you will need. The condo is very spacious. We had 4 adults, 1 child, and 2 babies and still had plenty of space. The pool is beautiful and was perfect b/c it also had a baby pool. Our room faced the beautiful lagoon and the pool. The kitchen is also very well equipped. We loved staying here and will visit again!!!

We had such a great time during our stay at Gulf Shores. The condo was clean and tastefully decorated with a seaside theme, helping us get into the whole beach experience. It was well-stocked and everything was just as presented on the website. Everything worked, was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was easy to feel at home. Also, the elevator is right by the condo, so getting our luggage in and out was very convenient. I was concerned at first about walking across the street to the beach, but it was nothing...just a hop to the beach, and the road was not busy at all! The beach was gorgeous, and not crowded. Everyone was friendly. The whole atmosphere was very family oriented. The pool was beautiful, and our view of it and the lagoon side was so peaceful! The owner was prompt about communicating with me, sent my deposit back right away, and her website provided us with good information about our first time trip to the gulf. We definitely will stay with her again. If you stay at Gulf Shores and can pull yourself away from the beach, eat at Bahama Bob's. Great food and fun.

OUR STAY WAS AWESOME. THE KIDS LOVED THE CONDO. IT WAS NICE AND CLEAN WITH A GREAT VIEW OF THE POOL AND THE LAGOON. THE KIDS LOVED THE BEING ABLE TO GO AND PLAY IN THE POOL. We really had a great time at Gulf Shores Surf and Racket Club this past weekend. The guys enjoyed the fishing both at the beach and on the canal. The pool is just beautiful. The condo was clean and well equiped which is a plus if you're there for an extended time. I would recommend visiting as it is convenient to most areas you may want to visit while vacationing.

Hi, We are the de Gooijers. We spent nearly two weeks here with our doughter(1 year).The condo was as describedand met all our expectations. We have swam (in the gulf and the pool), built sand castles (wonderful beach, far better than we were used to in FL) and had delicious dinners. Visited Blackwater forrest, USS Alabama, Mobile, Pensacola NAS, drove wonderful scenic highways and shopped a lot. We were sad to leave again :)

We enjoyed our recent vacation at GSSR Club. The facilities were wonderful and gave our kids several options of things to do -- tennis, shuffle board, fishing, pool, beach, etc. The pool area is beautiful with palm trees, flowers, and a great tropical feel. Our unit (205B) was a little small for our family of five, but overall we enjoyed our stay there and would return. The only comment we would make is that the unit needs an update in paint, furniture, bedding, kitchen light fixture etc. just to really brighten the place up. The price was very reasonable and we would return!

We had a very nice time staying in this condo! Almost everything you ever need is here! One can just pack their swimsuits and head for the beach or the pool! Both views are absolutely stunning! Anne- Thank you SO very much for sharing your condo with us! We very much needed the getaway since my husband's heart attack and just every day stress! It was absolutely amazing especially the view of the pool area. I felt we were in a tropical paradise. The condo was nice and clean and very well decorated. The walk to the ocean was great! Loved being able to run over and play. We also took advantage of the fishing docks and caught several large fish! We fried them up and ate them. YUMMY! Can't wait to come back. See you soon. Stacey
