We want you to know that your condo has been a lovely place to stay. It has been so nice to walk 5th Avenue and explore this end of town! The beach is definitely more crowded and a great "people watching spot"! My husband is getting a massage as I type, from Veronica down the street! We have been very impressed with your maintenance guy for Magic Paradise as he is always busy and does such a nice job cleaning. It has also been a comfort knowing that our car and bicycles are in a safe place. Joe & Josette have been very helpful and have made excellent suggestions for their "favorite" restaurants. The re-cycling that Magic Paradise has is also very impressive.

my family of three stayed at the Casa Beya condo for two weeks in Decmber 2010. We enjoyed the privacy and security of the condo and it is kept very clean. The condo is a very short walk to one of the best beaches in Playa and that was huge for us. We have always stayed in all inclusives when we travel and this was our first time in a condo. I love that we could get up whenever cook our own breakfast and head for the beach, stop at the corner store on the way for beers and you are there, fantastic!!. The condo is very comfrotable and lots of room for us three, five people still would have worked very comfortably, we like our space. The only thing I would have liked to see would have been a bigger balcony. My husband and I like to sit out on the balcony at night and talk with drinks etc. the condo balcony is very small so it really is not condusive to evenings on it. it is well equipped with the amenities one might need and the grocery stores are not that far. Starbucks and 5th ave is just around the corner, very convienent. I would defintiley recommend the condo for anyone looking to be walking distance to everything including the beach. we enjoyed our stay immensely and I am sure will return to the area in our travels.

We came down here with two friends who found your rental on VRBO and absolutely love it. It is close to the beach and shopping. We are cooking here mostly and have bought groceries at the Mega grocery. We are so glad to have found this place since we are not fond of the crowds, food and prices at some of the large all-inclusive resorts. We will definitely be back here at Casa Beyá.P.S. The details such as the welcome book, instructions to get here, spices in the cabinet, etc. . . . certainly help a lot! Also, being an interior designer, the place is decorated beautifully. It is a joy to be in this space.

Bo & I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay on our visit to Playa del Carmen! The space is simply beautiful. Some places we enjoyed were: -Breakfast: La Vagabunda -Lunch: Pizza from downstairs walk-up -Dinner: La Caprichoza -Dessert: Ah Cacao (The BEST chocolate & Desert IN THE WORLD! Also local and sustainable. Thanks to Marc & Cindy for sharing this place with us! Our friends loved it too Melissa Wackerle and Bo Mikolajczyk Dallas, Texas

This condo is perfect! We loved the travertine floors and granite counters and open decor. The washer and dryer was a real bonus. The condo is 1 block from the beach and the shopping strip. Starbucks is just on the corner. The condo is equipped with all the luxuries of home, security access to the gate and elevator and a security guard on the street corner. Playa is very safe, high police visibility (even on ATV's as we walked the beach at night) and lots of friendly help whereever we went. Other residents said they felt safer in Playa than they did in their home state in USA.

Summed up is mi casa es tu casa. Casa Beya is a privately owned condo in a building with a different name. The condo is very graciously stocked as a "home", not a rental condo. Great amenities: endless fresh water, all cooking appliances incl condiments, coffee maker, espresso maker, toaster oven, etc, so very handy to warm up the pizza from last night. Beds/bedding very comfy; there's a stereo for local radio, a iPod port, satellite TV, local cell phone, washer/dryer. The location is excellent. 5th ave is a block away, and very walkable. The area looks much bigger on the map. 5th ave is very active from 30th down to the lower numbers, with tons of shops/restaurants all along, and very well done. The condo is up a small street from Mamitas Beach. Mamitas is a very beautiful and safe swimming beach, plus you can walk for a mile either direction; and safe - we never had any probs leaving stuff there and swimming/walking. The condo is right there if we wanted to go back for a break. When I saw "Beach Clubs" i wasn't sure what all that meant. It means they charge for the padded chairs and umbrella. We paid 30pesos for each - 2 chairs and umbrella = 90 pesos per day. No drink requirement, we brought our own water, but the drinks and food were very reasonable. Mamitas has music on the far end that they jack up around 2pm - annoying for the afternoon nap. We learned to stay away from that corner of the music. Other days we just plopped the towel on the sand and paid nothing. Food in Playa is great. The small restaurant "Barracuda" is right on the corner next door to the condo had the best lunch with very nice smiling staff. Their tacos ($1.50US) were a daily apres beach stopover; plus they have a great fish fillet that is a meal ($6.50US). The Argentinian Beef restaurant (name?) right up on corner of 5th ave and 29th(?) is excellent - steak will melt in your mouth, plus overall great food - pastas, pizza, and sports TV. We ventured out to 30th ave and 18th (Constitutionales) and there is a great fresh fruit market called DAC, and another smaller one across the street. Both had excellent breakfasts for very reasonable. This is same area as the Mega Supermarket - very nice. Playa is very upbeat and very nice. We took a couple of tours, which I found to be a lot of driving and much less 'action', but my travelling partner really enjoyed them. On other Playa sites there are suggestions to take a collectivo bus to ruins, adjacent towns, or rent a c

Best vacation ever. Anselmo from Prehispanic Tours was there on time, at the airport with our van. He was extremely helpful and I would definitely recommend Prehispanic to anyone. We went to Ristorante Romagna Mia downstairs as soon as we arrived. The food was very good, although nothing fancy - it was perfect for a late-night quick dinner for a bunch of pooped travelers who needed comfort pasta. The condo is beautiful. It absolutely met all our needs - from air conditioning to the six-burner gas stove to the water cooler thoughtfully provided, to the electric grill. The beds were comfortable, and the kids shared the second bedroom with no hassle. We made use of the DVD player, as well as several of your books. I took the opportunity to walk to MEGA three times during our stay and stock up on groceries. We found both the Mamitas and Kool beach clubs to be an easy place to rent beach chairs and umbrellas. We also noted that it was by far the busiest section of the beach. Some people were paying the chair guys the day before to "reserve" prime spots for them. So, I went at 7:30 a.m. each morning just to make sure I got a good spot rented. The sand and water were great notwithstanding the crowds and the noon- to-dusk nonstop dance music. The food at the clubs was good as well. Surprisingly, we found almost everything is just cheaper there than it is here, so we went out to eat way more than we had planned to. We never visited anywhere twice, and never once did we receive bad service or bad food. A visiting friend took us out for dinner on New Year's Eve to El Casa del Agua. We also went to Yaxche, as well as La Vagabunda, Bistro 5-24, and La Parilla. All were phenomenal, for the kind of goodwill that you pay five times as much to enjoy in a place like Europe. If you want to stay in, order through the back window of the "La Tavola di Squalo" place downstairs. The best part of the whole trip was Hidden Worlds Cenote Park. Every one of us pushed our comfort zone with rappeling, snorkeling, low-ceilinged cenotes, and sky-cycling. I hope it doesn't change from its wild, intimate, and interesting character. The staff was the most helpful, attentive and knowledgeable I've ever seen. This one I would recommend to anyone. We had a great deal of fun at Xel-Ha as well. It is definitely a place for peop

Casa Beya was even more beautiful than the pictures. We were well received and had a very comfortable time here. The location is central for walking down to Mamitas beach and for going to the 5Th Ave. All facilities are there and in order! The decoration is beautiful and harmonious! You will have a great time here!!

We stayed here from December 25-31st. This is our second time in Playa del Carmen. First time staying at this condo complex. We, again, had a wonderful, relaxing Christmas vacation here. The weather was beautiful. Enjoyed the beach. It's nice to have the beach so close and a nice pool for the kids. Had GREAT food at the restaurants. We visited Xcaret on one of our days here. We took a taxi to Xcaret and back--purchased tickets when we got there. Spent most of the day there and had a good time. Enjoy your Mexican stay!!

My friends and I stayed at Casa Beya in April. We enjoyed every second of our visit. The beautiful beach is a 2 minute walk, as is Playa del Carmen’s 5th Avenue. Everything you could possibly need for a great getaway is within walking distance. I would recommend Casa Beya as muy bien!Anne HarneyChicago, IL

We just returned from a 7 night stay at Casa Beya and we are already thinking about planning another trip! The beautiful condo is welcoming, comfortable, and accomodating! We really enjoyed being able to do our laundry, cook a few meals and even grill out on the deck! The location is ideal: within walking to the the beach front (where I saw the most gorgeous water I have ever encountered), countless delectable restaurants and numerous boutiques and upscale stores. As we plan on visiting Playa del Carmen again, Casa Beya will be our top choice!

We had a wonderful time in this great vacation home! Within a block of beach, diving, food, bar steps outside of the gate--and shopping within 2 blocks. We rented a car, but it wasn't necessary, as everything is right there! A fantastic vacation!

Our family had a great time at Casa Beya. We loved that the beach was steps away from the condo, same with 5th Avenue too. We even took a walk to the Mega supermarket a few times. The condo was really spacious and very tastefully decorated. Our two college going children enjoyed the board games and even had some time to watch movies and read some of the books. We enjoyed our stay at Casa Beya and highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Beya, it is the closest place to PLAYA MAMITAS where you can find a nice place to spent all day laydown. Yes!! Casa Beya is in the middle of everything one block up from beach and one block down from 5th ave. The location couldnt be better. My family and I felt like "Tu casa es Mi casa" ...at the apartment you can find all you can need to stay comfortable... movies, table game, books... like at home. About MI MEXICO, I will need a book to tell you that the caribean in this Country is the best place to enjoy the Tropic Cancer, yes there is the white sand, turquoise water like in Honolulu, Varadero, Red Sea.... But the people here in Mexico is the BEST!!! Playa doesnt have any to do with Cancun, it is like a nice small town growing really fast, you can find a home made coffe like a Starbuck... But what you shuold try is the local places with their charming, magic and spirit.... Playa del Carmen is closet than Cancun to go to Tulum, Xcaret, Xhel-Ha and Cozumel (and small island in front af Playa del Carmen). We were realy satisfied to spent our time at Play in Casa Beya, we are planning to be there againg. VIVA MEXICO!!! Norma Moreno

I had a total fun time here in Casa Beya. We hung out 24/7 at the beach and shopping on 5th Street. For food I recommend going to La Parilla that is on the corner of 5th and 8th. They have a Mariachi band! While you are here you should go to Xel-Ha. It's great for the family for snorkeling or exploring the Mayan caves. Also you should visit Cozumel by ferry. The snorkeling there is ah-mazing! As you can see there are a lot of things you can do here at Casa Beya. Gina Pagan, Age 11

We so enjoyed ourselves at Casa Beya -- the building, the location and the decor were exemplar! We will definitely consider staying with you if we go to Playa again. We especially appreciated how you antipicated our every need (coffee filters, blenders, plastic wrap, etc. ).

My wife and I spent a great week in August at Casa Beya in Playa del Carmen. It is the closest you can get to enjoy heaven on earth. The location couldn't be any better, as it is a 1 block walk to the white, sandy beach on the Caribbean Sea, with its crystal-clear, turquoise waters. You are just a short walk to 5th Avenue, with its great selection of local and international restaurants. 5th Avenue is the Mexican version of the Champs-Elysees in Paris. No vehicles are allowed on the street, so you sit and relax at the outdoor cafes and enjoy your favorite drink as you watch the tourists and locals enjoy their evening walks. My wife and I would highly recommend this lovely vacation home, and we enjoyed the wonderful Mexican hospitality.

I spent a lovely week at Casa Beya in Playa Del Carmen this past October. The location of the condo was perfect only a block from the beach and right in the heart of the city's fabulous main street 5th Ave! My friends and I had a blast both experiencing the night life of the city as well as staying in, cooking dinner and relaxing. I would recommend visiting Casa Beya because it offers the perfect blend of a beach vacation and the atmosphere of a bustling city alongside all the comforts that you would find in your own home. We absolutely loved our stay here!
