Pine island is teeming with Snook, Grouper, Trout, Redfish and Tarpon you can even do your own fishing right in this canal. Its just minutes away by boat to Sanibel, Captiva, Cayo Costa, Cabbage Key and Boca Grande where you will find world famous fishing waters or just a great day of fun in the sun. Full service marinas offer off-shore charter fishing or daily fun trips and boating, Kayak and Canoe rentals to enjoy nearby grass flats and nature preserves.
Pine Island restaurants serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with freshly caught fish, Free music, and nightly entertainment with great local flare.
There are lots of world-class art galleries featuring local artists and with upscale art.
"Art Night" (4-9pm, Fridays, October-April) on Pine Island are truly memorable and will lead to good times and new friends.
