La Petite Maison is a cozy village property located in the charming of village of Menerbes made famous by Peter Mayle's book "A Year in Provence". This designer property is the perfect place for week or weekend getaway for two people who want to explore the region by car, by bike or on foot.
Beautifully located in the heart of the village, the house consists of a voluminous kitchen/breakfast room, a mezzanine lounge or sitting area, a connecting bedroom, a troglodytic shower/wc room and some outside space. You are exactly 200 metres from the village café, pharmacy and newspaper store. The house has a totally unobstructed view and when unoccupied, is my summer home.
Unfortunately, at the time of writing I'm not at the house, so can't measure the room dimensions, but rest assured that the house is large enough for two people (depending on characters) to live in for up to 6 months at a time - trust me I do it regularly.
This property happens to be adjacent to the Ancienne Poste which is also available for rent through this site. Please note: if you happen to be someone who has chosen to rent the Ancienne Poste and do not wish to add on La Petite Maison for extra sleeping capacity then rest assured that it will not be rented to anyone else whilst you are at the Ancienne Poste.
La Petite Maison is mainly rented in the Autumn, Winter and early Spring seasons when the Ancienne Poste is unoccupied. During the Spring and summer season we give priority to guests of the Ancienne Poste.
