This historic renovated and upgraded home provides a safe, private and ideally located walled estate. It was built in 1925 and offers our guests a look at the life that has been led by Hollywoods elite for many years. Complete walled privacy, a short five blocks from the beach in the Hedgerow area of Montecito, it allows visitors to have access to the many features that the Santa Barbara area has to offer. The estate lies in a residential neighborhood surrounded by other estates, private schools and local shopping areas with great access to Highway 101 for travel to L.A. or up to the wine country.
Santa Barbara, of which Montecito is a part, has a rich Spanish tradition coming from its founding in the 1700's by the Franciscan Monks. Their mission stands today as a monument to the work accomplished by these individuals and their Chumash Indian workers.
The area hosts over 10,500,000 visitor days per year, of with 17% of these guest come from foreign countries. These individuals can travel anywhere in the world and choose the "American Riviera". With a population of 100,000 permanent residents and over 700 restaurants, it is easy to understand the ease of life-style of the area with its average temperature in the summer of 75 degrees F. and winter temperatures that average 65 degrees F.
The hacienda is located in an area that is readily accessible to the downtown area, a scant 10 minute drive, or the wine country of Santa Ynez Valley with over 100 vineyards, a 45 minute drive along the coast.

Because Montecito has arguably the best climate in the United States and one of five Mediterranian micro-climates in the world, plus its Spanish cultural overtones, it was an easy choice. Millions of visitors per year cannot be wrong.

Period pieces from around the world have been gathered to make your stay one of the most memorable you have experienced.
