The Sandcastle is located in the historic town of Clarksville, Virginia and is situated on a .75 acre sandy point looking over Kerr Lake. The Sandcastle has the best of the mountains with woods and fresh water, and the sandy beach front of an Ocean retreat for your vacation.
Clarksville has much to offer you for a relaxing vacation. Besides the hunting, fishing, and many lake activities there is a walking tour of the 18th century churches, homes, and businesses. There are several antique shops as well as hiking, biking, or horseback riding through the 15 miles of multi-purpose trail in Occoneechee State Park only minutes away.
The Sandcastle is a simple one level, 4 bedroom retreat where you and the kids can make yourselves at home. The living room as well as 3 out the 4 bedrooms are equipped with Satellite T.V. Whether it is watching T.V., reading on the screened in porch or sunbathing on the sandy beach the Sandcastle is the place to enjoy it. There is a large dock to park your boat, swim, or fish from as well.
We are conveniently located at the Virginia/North Carolina border. Two hours west of Richmond, Virginia and 45 minutes north of Raleigh, North Carolina.
