We are located in Mid-Town at 67th & Coastal Highway bayside. We have 3 private bayside beaches, a huge outdoor and indoor pool, kiddy pool, clubhouse, marina, martini bar, grille, crabbing and fishing pier, sauna, fitness center, interactive fountain, live music some weekends by pool, beautiful sunsets and much more.
Our beautiful 3 year old condo is a true luxury condo. Our open spacious floorplan is beautiful and airy. We have the only condo building on the island with a direct unobstructed bay view. Our master bedroom and living room both have sliding glass doors and balconies that overlook the bay. 0ur condo was tastefully designed by an interior decorator. The master bathroom has a glass shower w/bench, a separate large soaking tub and double vanity.
Our full kitchen is open to the living room and dining room with a counter bar. The dining room table seats 6 but has room for more chairs.
The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third has two twins. The second bathroom is large and has glass shower doors.
We have free secured WIFI and cable TV. The living room and master bedroom both have a TV with DVD player. The second bedroom has a TV.
Sunset Island is a great place for your family vacation and our unit is one of the nicest on the island...and remember 6 Hidden Cove Way (our building) is the only building with an unobstructed
bay view!!

Hi,
My husband and I have been going to Ocean City Maryland since we were teenagers and we always hoped of buying a place there. Now we finally have that perfect vacation condo. We spared no expense decorating and upgrading the unit as we plan to retire there eventually. We bought in the only building that has an unobstructed bay view. Sunset Island is a fantastic resort just across the street from the ocean beach. We have private bay beaches on the island, a restaurant an interactive million dollar fountain and much more. We hope you enjoy your stay in our condo. You won't believe how wonderful our "neighborhood" is.
Why the Owner Chose Sunset Island
We decided to buy in Sunset Island because of the wonderful modern layout of the condos. Nothing beats new construction. Although we had always thought we had to have the ocean view nothing on the other side of Coastal Highway could compare with what Sunset Island had to offer. I love our bayview and all of the birds that live in the wetlands. Our gated community is safe and secure and we have beautiful beaches of our own on the bayside so our young grandchildren can safely navigate the water without the huge waves. We have movie nights on the beach, parties, bands at the pool a wonderful restaurant and much more. When we long for the ocean we just walk across Coastal Highway and 0.2 miles and enjoy.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
There are so many benefits to staying at Sunset Island, one of them being the community spirit. We have a little corner store that sells fresh ice cream and lattes along with other sundries including a nice selection of wine. Our interactive fountain is amazing and children and adults of all ages love having a great time there. Our community is set up to look like the town in Florida called Celebration built for Disney. It is very quaint. A boardwalk trail runs the perimeter of the island, which of course is surrounded by water. We even have a marina where you can rent a boat or a jet-ski.

From the moment we entered this condo it was a feeling of being at home. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated with a shore/beach theme, all with a fantastic view. The community itself offers a feeling of security and the assigned parking spot within the covered garage is a plus, no wondering if a space was going to be there when you return at the end of day. The owners were wonderful to work with. They went out of our way to make our stay comfortable. The condo itself was clean, spacious and well equipped with everything we needed. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Sunset Island has much to offer; two pools, private beaches, an interactive fountain, gym and the Island Times Cafe on the bay. I would recommend Sunset Island and this great home to anyone interested in an Ocean City Vacation.

I have vacationed several times at this property with friends and family and enjoyed each stay thoroughly! The unit is comfortable, clean, quiet, tastefully decorated and more than large enough to accomodate all travellers in our party (from kids to adults). Plus, the balcony view is AWESOME! Nothing like ending the day (or starting your evening) with your own private view of a bayside sunset! The gated community (a nice touch if you've never been to one) is close enough to all the things Ocean City has to offer, as well as its own first-class amenities. The resort has all you would need for a great vacation right on the premises, and the staff are more than happy to offer their suggestions to you for activities in the area. The owners went out of their way to make sure everything was "as advertised" for our vacation, and did their very best to correct anything that wasn't right. The pictures and description in the listing for this unit are accurrate, but you really have to see it for yourself to appreciate it! I would definately recommend this property to any of my relatives and friends.

My family just recently stayed at the Meil's condo and found the property to be in excellent condition. The view from the balcony is breathtaking at any time during the day or night. My husband and I as well as our three boys had a wonderful time. Even our teenager had a great time! The Meil's condo on Sunset Island is the place to be. We will definitely stay again!!

Wonderful place to stay at. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to spend a week at the beach. The condo was very clean and well maintained. Great view of the bay.The Sunset Island is very clean , there's a nice walking/ jogging path, pool and easy access in and out of the development to the main road ,and many restaurants nearby. Also its within walking distance to the beach without having to drive.

What a pleasant surprise amidst the hustle & bustle of Ocean City. I've vacationed in Ocean City my whole life & have never come across a more inclusive community than Sunset Island. I vacationed for a week & barely had the need to leave the island. Bayfront, Sunset Island has its' own private clubhouse with restaurant, indoor& outdoor pools, fitness center (although I used the walking trail during this vacation) within the community there are bayfront beaches & natural wild life. This unit in particular, has direct wetlands & bayfront views. The large balcony offers a place to escape. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed. Definitely going to be my home away from home!

Beautiful views of Bay. There were bay beach areas for kids to explore and play during time away from ocean during the evening in addition to the pools and bay beach. Short walk to beach, beach shops and very short drive to supermarkets and restaurants. Condo was clean, no problems. Nicely decorated. We had 2 adults and 5 kids and loved it. Taking a year off for other plans, but will be back again next year.

My wife and I spent our anniversary weekend at this condo so you can immagine we were looking forward to a special weekend. The place did not disappoint. Each condo has one assigned parking space. We only had one car so we were always guaranteed a parking space but for larger groups, extra spaces abound on the street level though the owner left instructions to only park of areas with clam shells - the parking stickers provided allowed for this. Once inside the first thing we noticed was how spacious and open the place was. The next thing we noticed was how clean and neat the place was. EIther they have very good cleaning services, actually they do, or their other renters were as neat as we were. The place has 3 bedrooms (though we only used the large master bedroom), 2 full baths, a large and comfortable open kitchen and living area. Of course we already kew this from the property description and photos but were not truely prepared for how nice the place actually was. And the 2 non-master bedrooms are comfy and not sardine can sized. Let's talk about the view. The rental photos of the bay is taken from the balcony that spans the bedroom and living room and the real thing was breathtakingly georgous. The bayside beach is within walking distance but not crowded and noisy (well we must say that we were there the weekend before the labor day - begining of summer vacation season). Actually all of the ammenities, pool, exercise center and restaurant were is within a short walking distance. The pool looked great with a cute little island in the center, we did not use the gym so can't say anything about it except from the look of the pool and restaurant it was probably a nice gym. The restaurant was also very good for sandwiches and the likes. The location of Sunset island is pretty much in the middle of the main Ocean City strip which was perfect for us. It was close enough to the main end of the boardwalk that it was not a long drive but far enough that we were not in the middle of the crowd and noise. The location also meant that we were near enough to the shops and restaurants that lined the main road which tended to thinned out the further you got from the main end of the boardwalk. As for returning to this condo. We will definately return again with the kids and grand kids although a quiet anniversay weekend without the kids was very nice too. :)
