  I rented this apt in August when visiting my 2 sons. My eldest lives in Soho just around the corner. I was SO pleasantly surprised to find this place even better than I had expected. There was an elevator, air conditioning and it was so clean and tastefully furnished. The location was the best! I was not at all bothered by noise. It is a lively neighborhood but I found the apt well insulated. I can hardly wait to go back. The greeter was so nice and there were great tips on restaurants etc in the area. Thank you Ken!!

  This apartment fully met our expectations. It is located in a wonderful section of Nolita and surrounded by great restaurants, shops and bars. The apartment was clean, free of dustmites and the main bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed. Ken was a straight shooter and easy to deal with. Two things to be aware of. This is a vibrant and active part of NYC and even the double glazing did not block out the life on the street. We used the white noise system in the bedroom which helped a lot. Second, my daughter did not find the sofa bed very comfortable. The spare air bed was comfortable though. I would recommend this property - and I wish we had time to stay longer. Thanks Ken.

  If your goal is to visit NY city, my opinion is that SOHO is the only place to stay...ok that is just me. Nevertheless, the sights, smells and the places make this district ideal. As for the apartment, I will keep it simple; good size, very clean, stylish, quiet , and comfortable. The owner makes everything easy. From now on this place will be my first choice.

  I can't imagine a better location to stay in New York City! We're a family of four, and we were looking for a place that would allow us to really get to know Manhattan. The apartment itself is wonderful; it's spacious enough, comfortable and equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. With a spacious elevator and working air conditioning, it was a nice retreat from the July heat after a morning or afternoon exploring. The best thing about this apartment is the location. We enjoyed looking out the window, watching the neighborhood, almost as much as touring the city. SoHo is definitely the coolest part of the city, and this place is right in the heart of it. You are just a few steps from a zillion cool restaurants, shops and bars and the atmosphere at Spring and Mulberry is the best. One of my favorite things about this location is the proximity of a major Uptown/Downtown subway line. The Spring Street & Lafayette stop is literally just outside the front door of the building, and takes you anywhere you want to go. This is really nice when you're coming home from an excursion as you get off the train and you're home! Finally, Ken is the best. While he makes it clear that this is not a hotel and you're on your own as far as services (which was fine with us), he's very concerned that your stay is comfortable. He'll make sure someone greets you and makes you feel welcome, and if there are any issues that might be of concern, he will make sure they're taken care of right away. Don't bother looking for a hotel or any other apartment in the city; THIS IS THE PLACE!

  The apartment is nice, clean, comfortable, well and the location could not be better. Everything was so close! It was even much better that what I expected and could see in the pictures. You could go to so many restaurants, bars, shops, drug store, grocery store walking, and the subway was just some steps from the building. Im looking forward to go back, I had the best vacation. I really recommend the place, and also everything was easy,clear and straight with the owner to close the deal.

  We stayed in this apartment over Christmas and New Years and we would stay here again in a heart beat. I am very picky and this apartment is very clean and we really felt at home. Ken is the best. I asked a million questions before I booked this place and he answered every question and was so nice. The location is perfect for shopping and eating out and the subway is right outside the apartment.

  This place was exactly as shown on the vrbo website. My husband & I came here for our 3rd wedding Anniversary and had a wonderful time. Nothing pretentious and there were even 2 beers waiting for us in the fridge! (Thanks to the previous tenants-we paid it forward leaving a mini-keg for the next renters) :-) All the action was right outside our door. The San Gennaro (Italian) Festival had the neighbourhood bustling that weekend so there was LOTS to do and see. People who lived in the building were young and friendly and recommended a visit to the roof; what a view! This pad helped create a truly authentic New York experience that we won't forget...we'll be back!

  No surprises at all with this one. You walk out the front door straight into the mix and you can walk anywhere downtown. The place was clean and cool and comfortable. We stayed with four people very comfortably. I usually stay at the tribecca grand or Dwaine hotels and spend a lot more for much less. Such a great place to come back to after any kind of adventure you get into in the city. This was my first time doing a vrbo and was a little nervous but Ken made everything a breeze. Definitely stay here

  We recommend this apartment to 4 or 5 people. The descriptions and photos were accurate. The rooms are spacios and clean. The owner was very helpful and reliable. It is closed to everything you need, farmacy, shops and subways. We loved our stay there in a wonderful September weather and would love to go back.

  This clean, spacious apartment is set in an ideal location, close to lots of restaurants & great shopping. I loved it and will go back. The only downside is that it is noisy at night so if you aren't use to it, you may not sleep very well.

  Owner response: We thank this reviewer for their generous review. Now we will comment on the "noisy" part. As this is Soho, a very happening area of the city, it is full of nightlife on weekends, which we think is wonderful to have our your doorstep. We have added theatre curtains to the bedroom windows to block most of the sound. Also if you close the windows securely most noise is quieted as they are good windows. (any nightlife noise is generally on friday and saturday nights in warm weather). But honestly, this is Soho, this is not a quiet block on the far upper East or West Side of the city.
