  This is a beautiful, well-furnished home, and the complex grounds and pool area are attractive and well-maintained. We appreciated that good quality beach chairs (4) and a cooler were available for our daily beach trips. The private beach club was great, and is now one of our favorite beaches. Norma was great to work with, start to finish. Mahalo!

  We stayed around New Years this year, and although our stay was short, it was wonderful. Sunrise Villa is furnished very nicely, with large comfortable beds, nice (clean, excellent condition) furniture, and quality appliances. We were able to see the New Years' fireworks from the balcony (at the Mauna Lani) which was an unexpected treat. This is a great deal, and the entire Mauna Lani resort is very nice. Beach Club access was used every day!

  My wife and I are closing out an outstanding 16 day stay in this lovely villa, located in an ideal spot within the Fairways. We both wish we had booked for a longer stay. If one is interested in a spacious, well furnished, open, well maintained and bright environment this is the place to choose. The setting allows one to enjoy both the sunrise and sunset without the "glaring" rays of the sun, a privacy that is ideal since it is bordered on one side by the golf course with interesting natural hardscape and an availablity to the pool, beach that is even better than described! The facility was well stocked with all the basics required. One only need to get the groceries and do the cooking/grilling. Or enjoy the other eaters that are well detailed in the "welcome" binder. The owners were good to deal with throughout. In summary you can not go wrong with this location and would be hard pressed to do better! Would recommend to family and others.

  This is a lovely Villa in the Fairways at Mauna Lani. All information was accurately described by the owner. The condo was very clean and well maintained. It was well equipped with everything you could want and then some. The view from the upper terrace is lovely and we had some Beautiful sunsets. The owners were great to work with and provided all the necessary information on a timely basis. Their directions to the condo and access information were clear and easy to use. This is a great location as you are close to two hotels for lovely dinners. One of the best beaches on the big island is just minutes away. We would recommend this property without hesitation.

  Place was in pristine condition and very well equipped. The location was convenient to everything on the Kohala Coast. The Mauna Lani Beach Club was wonderful and the snorkeling was terrific. Golf was great as well.

  We had a WONDERFUL time staying at your condo...we didn't want to leave! The decor, amenities, cleaniness, etc. were impeccible. The location is pretty central to everything and the grocery store down the street was a godsend. As you stated, Norma, the private beach club was a god send...I think we used it every day. My boyfriend is an avid diver and said the snorkeling off there was some of the best he's ever experienced. We were lucky enough to see eels, honu turtles and an octopus. We actually celebrated our 2 year anniversary during our stay and grilled lobster tails and steak for dinner outside on the downstairs patio. We throughly enjoyed sitting on the upper patio area with our coffee an books in the morning...such a relaxing way to start the day. We fell in love with the Big Island and we will definitely be back...we hope your condo will be available when we do!

  We enjoyed our week at the Fairways condo unit. The location overlooking the canyon gives privacy and feeling of the island. We particularly enjoyed the unit, including the upstairs master lanai for quiet afternoon reading and relaxation, and the pool at the Fairways. The walk down to the State Park is a short one, and the ocean view from there is great. I even went to see the Petroglyphs and will say it was worth the time to see the figures in the rocks and think about the ancient peoples. There are many other things to do, too many to elaborate on at this time, but Norma and Bob have provided a reference binder for all renters which provides invaluable information on restaurants, visitor spots and Mauni Lani amenities. We will certainly return for another stay here. You will definitely enjoy your time at this upscale unit.

  This was perfect for us--immaculate, well-appointed, and spacious! We used the place fully for our week's stay and found it conveniently located and quiet. We have found the place we want to return to when we're back on the big island!

  We had a great stay at Bob and Norma's Sunrise Villa condo. They provided excellent directions and things to do once we are in Big Island. The condo has everything we needed and more. The condo is very clean, kitchen is fully stocked, extra towels and linens and the best part is they have beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards and beach toys for the kids. Mauna Lani area is quiet and beautiful and we really enjoyed the Mauna Lani beach club amenities. This condo is within a few miles drive to some of the most beautiful beaches on Big Island and our favorites are Mauna Kea Beach, Hapuna beach and Spencer beach. Thanks Norma and Bob for letting us stay at your beautiful place. We hope to return again next year!
