  My family had a great time staying at the cabin. The kids played in the woods and my husband and I relaxed on the decks with the breathtaking views. There was so many things to see and do. We went tubing, antiquing, visited amazing waterfalls and just had a blast. The cabin is very clean and well maintained and the owners are great. I would recommend this cabin to all of my family and friends.

  Just had our 2nd stay at this wonderful cabin. The location is great and so quiet. The cabin is roomy and our children loved being able to watch their shows on the lower level and still hear us on the main level. The bed in the master is very comfortable and the views are stunning. Especially this time of year (Dec) with no leave on the trees, you can see for miles. Rent this one, you will love it!

  The owners were so kind and easy to rent from. Their cabin is beautiful, set on the very top of the mountain. It's beautiful, comfortable and very relaxing. The views from the three porchs are not to be missed. One small detail that is very important to most renters; the beds, linen and furniture are all top of the line. No second rate "rental" sheets or furniture. We truly felt like we were hanging at a good friends cabin. We hope to be lucky enough to rent this property every year. Thanks!!!!

  We enjoyed our short stay at your cabin. It was as described, but as mentioned in other reviews the steep incline was a bit more than we expected. (might make mention that a 4X4 would be nice- ha ha lol) Once there though it was very quite & peaceful. Just my husband & I (in 50's), but a great place to relax. We traveled out each day & hiked the waterfalls & did some shopping & fine dining. The Italian place in Blairsville (a brochure is posted on fridge) was very good. Also had some good BBQ while there. Did not see a bear or any wild life while there, but..... maybe next time. Did enjoy the birds singing, the beautiful views, & coffee is so much better on those porches. These folks are really nice & are nice to rent from- financial transaction went very smooth- good to work with. Thanks again for a great stay in the mountains- cause where we come from it's ALL flat land.

  my wife and i spent two very relaxing weeks at the cabin,enjoying all that the area has to offer including the local hospitality.we definately recommend "above the clouds" for anyone wanting to escape the city

  Has a great time, bordering on a national park...within driving distance to shopping and sights. We hiked Brasstown Bald, Blood Mountain, Tallulah Falls and more. Enjoyed lovely wines from the local vineyard.

  We stayed during Memorial Day weekend, and had a great time. The cabin is comfortable, clean, and slept four adults and two kids with room to spare. The views are beautiful. We had a nice time tramping around the woods and road, as well as driving to Helton Creek Falls and Lake Nottley. Even on a popular holiday weekend, it was incredibly quiet, and no one was around. This was also VERY reasonably priced for such nice accommodations.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  Stephen, we are so looking forward to returning to your cabin this April 2011 for our 3rd time. Everything is always so neat and clean. The views are beautiful and the piece and quiet are great. Young Harris is a nice little town and the drive to Hiawassee for shopping is scenic. Barb and Debbie, The sisters from Michigan

  The cabin is simply beautiful. The views from the decks were amazing.... We had such a wonderful relaxing vacation! The amenities made it feel like a home away from home. We hope to go back sometime soon. I'd recommend this cabin to all of my family and friends.

  We enjoyed our stay at the cabin very much. The amenities made our stay feel as if we were at home... Great location - about 5 miles from Young Harris College campus one direction and 5 miles from Lake Nottley in the other direction . The website photos don't do it justice, but it is everything the website promises and more. Be prepared for a very steep incline to get to the top of the mountain. Some cars might not be up to the challenge... But once you get there, and get settled in - you may never want to leave!
